I think whilst he hasnt handled it the best, it is different to Isak. Wissa is 28/29 and on 25k per week. If Brentford make him stay out his contract, he will be 30/31. We are probably offering him 100k per week and when he is 30/31, it's unlikely he gets a 4-year deal on that. It's probably the last chance for a deal that will make him enough money to live comfortably for the rest of his life. Isak probably already has enough money to do that but he is only 25.

That's why our statement said conditions as opposed to fee or deal. We need to get someone in, receive an acceptable bid and it wouldn't surprise me if we'd said that you can't join another PL team.
