Well if Ashley does eventually do one, then there could be a rush of new season ticket requests. The stadium would then probably have to be extended or a new one built outside of the city.

A little bit off yet but given how quickly they have knocked the new accommodation up opposite Barker n Stone house, I reckon once the green light is given it'll fly up. Its all just steel structure work and panelling.

If money wasn't an issue to a super rich owner then moving the old buildings behind the East Stand would be the better option and then build the east stand up top Level 7. I'm not sure you'd be able or allowed to move leazes terrace, I like the idea of it though Money talks, I'm sure if it was moved respectably and other facilities added as a "bribe" then it would be fine. Never going to happen like.

A bit over the top as usual, but we should be one of the most attractive clubs in the world to buy. Not only unique in being a one club city, but we stand apart from most of the other clubs in England in both geography and passion for the game which has to be a massive factor. It would be for British buyers anyway, my only worry is whether foreign buyers would realise it. Someone like Stavely would be crucial in conveying this. You see nothing clubs like Crystal Palace and QPR getting bought up and you wonder whether the owners think just because they are in London that somehow gives them extra value? Its not over the top like. We are already in the top 20 of world club's and that's with Ashley as owner. We have one of the best manager's in the world in charge, one of the biggest stadiums, a huge huge fan base and a pretty decent foreign following. There is not a club on earth that could achieve what we could with major investment, not a club that isn't already an established power base or elite club anyway. These were the (not so long ago) days . . . http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/vv345/manorpark_photos/Newcastle%204/Newcastle%205/5th%20Richest%20Club%20in%20the%20world%20-%20NUFC%201999_zpsgot9hsio.jpg When is this from? 99? Isn't that when NTL gave us a 24 million interest free loan ?

A nice sensible start by someone being able to maximise our advertising space and be able to turn that into direct funds to run the club instead of a parasite burying itself into the club and feasting of its flesh.

Isn't it quite high at 70% or was that a press release by Bishop?

Is that aimed at me? No, but it's canny ironic that it was yet again another misunderstanding. I hadn't read his post at all or any of the others replying to him. I was just passing comment. I think my comments stand, given that everyone is sick of Ashley. They do and everyone is. As I say, it wasn't in response to your post. treys cool.

I've had enough of Ashley, even if the next group come and in and let us spend a little bit of sensible money then ill be happy. I cant handle being stuck in Ashley's tatty business models anymore.

Its going to be a knife through the heart when this eventually falls apart to nothingness and Ashley continues his sterile "no fun" approach to owning our club.
-
Calm down. It wasn't that funny.

I’ve heard a few people say that she’s been interested in buying a Premier League club for a while. Taking those words literally I’m wondering if she’s interested in buying it for herself rather than a 3rd party? Though looking at career she seems to be very business oriemtated and buying a Premier League club wouldn’t exactly be the wisest investment for her. I dunno, a prem club gives you massive global coverage where you can slap sponsorship all over the stadium and kit. See Mike Ashley and Sports Direct for details.

We've seen and heard it all before. Wasn't there some stupid comments about them trying to KK to stay or wanted him to stay 10 years ago when it all kicked off. They are so predictable.

I'm waiting for the "we tried but Rafa wanted to leave"...empty offers that were never available in the first place.
