Our prem status is at risk BIG TIME, we need money to fund other areas of the first team. Man City know this. 5m more isn't going to represent a significant upgrade on our current targets.. Our problem isn't the money it's that nobody wants to come here. We have absolutely nothing to lose by playing hardball. It's not as if we're going to buy anyone significant anyway. And you kno this because you've been on the phone to

How do they? They're under pressure to improve their squad and their league position. And we ARE NOT?!?!?! Despite having cover that will see us through in that position.......

I would say at least 90% came from inside the ground, I didn't see anybody come from anywhere else. The age range was also very wide, it wasn't just kids. The ones hanging round the groud during the day tended to be utter mongs. After the match people tend to hang about and get caught up in it.

That's completely ignoring that the ADUG were interested in buying us and one of the main people in the Man City takeover said so during a TV interview. He said that he repeatedly tried to contact Mike Ashley who failed to return his calls. The chain of events is as follows: ADUG try to contact Ashley who refuses to call them back. Keegan spits his dummy out. Fans protest and call for Ashley to go. Ashley puts the club up for sale, as requested by protestors. Nobody wants to manage the club. Kinnear steps in to steady the club until a buyer is found. No buyer found. Stuck with Kinnear. Have I missed anything? you tell me.

Needing money is everything at the moment as it appears we need to sell before buying. We have other players to cover his position while other areas of the team are thin or not covered at all. I'm not over happy about it myself, i just think its a sensible thing to do at the moment. So we sell Given and get an Ebondo, what's the point? I agree we need to sell, but only if we get a substantial amount. Man city hold all the cards we need to sell they know we have cover he is unhappy They know we need to sell, no one else is coming in for him. So what average player would you buy with the £5m? I'm not happy about it myself mate. Given doesn't want to be here anymore, we have cover in that area. We need money to fund other positions. I'm saying man city have us bent over. I would love to get 8-10 mil for him but man city have us by the balls. Who knows he might end up staying, man city could wait until the summer. Get him even cheaper.

Perhaps if fans hadn't decided to protest and make the managers job unappealing then he would have appointed someone better, a few people did try and point this out at the time. West Ham were in a similar position to us with the manager leaving for similar reasons, yet they seem to be doing so much better than we are and the only thing I can see that's different is their fans let the club get on with appointing a new manager and got behind him. Equally, he could have still went on and appointed decent manager and win the fans back? I think he knew the s*** was hitting the fan finalcially an used the fans backlash as an excuse to sell up. Now the fat c*** is stuck with NUFC and us with him. He knew from his own experience of buying the club that you don't want to walk into a club where a new manager you may not want has been handed a long term deal. A far as he was concerned the club would be sold and Kinnear would do a job for 8 weeks until it went through. I'm not sure how anyone can argue that if the fans didn't protest and Ashley putting the club up for sale that we would have got a better manager than Kinnear in through the door, as I've said that's the only difference between us this season and West Ham. Huh Joe Kinnear was not instantly installed as manager when fat man also chucked his toys out of the pram. He had a preiod to win the fans or some fans back over with a decent sensible appointment. It didn't happen, I'll telly you why again. He realised he could not afford to run NUFC as the credit crunch f***ed him in the ass. First chance he had to get rid of NUFC he tried his best and failed. We now have clem head managing the club and we dont have any wedge to spend unless we flog first.

It's anyone's fault but the people who actually run the club, it seems. Yup, always the fans fault.
-
He is protecting his reputation. He wont be coming to NUFC until the club is financially sound.

Hearts were in a better position to bargin and Sunderland were daft cunts to allow Keano to pay that. We dont have a strong hand here, we have an unhappy player, we need money. Man city know this.
-
We are not in a position to bargin really, we have cover for him. He wants to leave and we need money asap. Man City know this.

My head will be in my hands for most of this match, will be like watching a car crash in slow motion.

I thought we'd washed our hands of him ages ago! -
And tbh, i'm not one for wanting to change a manager again but can you be serious about maintaining prem status with Joe Kinnear at the club???
-
I agree but sadly it looks like its sales before buys. He aint putting a scoop of cash in.
-
Yes, he could save us but does he want to pump more of his own dosh in??? I get the feeling he wont.

Shit manager Injured players Some Players dont want to be at the club Owner and his board never communicate their ideas Fans going through the motions Cant win at home Lose away from home. Fucking reeks like pat butchers snatch man.
