Yeah i would agree with that. Dixon's love length couldn't be any further up Wenger's arse. Lawro is just a complete pear. Hanson is alrite when he isn't teamed up with Lawro. Mr chiles makes me laugh i like him. Peter schmeichel was poor and Shearer isn't that good, he needs to lighten up a little at times. The best pundit ever though has to be Gordon Strachan, boy he could make me laugh, MOTD2 was the highlight of my week when he was on it

I actually think the police have done a good job at stamping out football violence, as someonebody already said, the firms are now fighting away from the grounds which is good as it is kept as far apart from the football as possible. England seems to have this real bad image that they have loads of football hooligans but i think the problem at the moment isn't that great here and is increasing over central europe. Poland seems to have alot of trouvlw with it all and after being in Italy for the Palermo game it was obvious that the problem was big, aswell as seeing various videos related to Italian soccer violence on youtube. The police over there seem to actually join in witht he trouble rather than prevent it.

I notice a nazza06 comment there, in the train video, who signed up here today. Idiot. actually when i first saw the video i saw it as jsut a bit of harmless banter between the newcastle and frankfurt fans, i didn't know anything about racism going on. Fair play, mate. I did mean idiot in an "eejit" type of sense, wasn't being serious. How could he not know there was any racism involved when his comment was singing the Kebab song? I don't see how that was a harmless bit of banter singling out one bloke because he was Turkish. Why wasn't there a song about a bratwurst shop?? The guy didn't look bothered atall and i saw it in the same light i do when people call me "haggis" or mention "skirts" to me (meaning kilts) because I'm from Scotland. I see the light hearted side of things like this and so without knowing about the attack on the Turkish bloke in the stadium I wasn't aware that the chanting was meant in a racist way. Hope you can understand where i'm coming from.

most problems are the result of religion or as i refer to it"being gullable enough to believe and live your life according to something which has no evidence"

I know that no game is easy, thats why I called it the "so called easy games" But these are the games we should win, I would not go home happy if we didn't get the 3 points from teams of this calibre. I also now that they are performing well at the moment, but can you see teams like Portsmouth or Reading in the top 6 at the end of the season? 3 points against teams like Blackburn, Reading, Portsmouth, West Ham, Charlton... and so on are teams I expect us to beat. i think portsmouth are a much better team than what you make them out to be.

He's our less gobby black version of Bellamy :celb2: He's seems to be settling in now and he is going to be a really effective player for us, i hope all those doubters are starting to be convinced.

How? Parker is better in about every aspect of the game. Just about how he is used at Newcastle....as a footballer he is surely better than Butt. There isn't a single aspect of the game where Parker is better than Butt. Parker's passing is worse, his tackling his worse, his anticipation and reading of the game is worse. I would say Parker's tackling is probably better than butt's tbh. Parker needs to hold a position in the midfield rather than running all over the place.

Hello allmo hows the birthday going?

Are BNP doing well in Newcastle?? Generally the places with racist gits have BNP as possible winners of seats. Im only 13 but I know In East London BNP are doing really well that's why West Ham have a fair share of racists. I was always under the impression that West ham was a pretty multicultural area and that is why they hated Bowyer so much. If that's right and the BNP are doing well then there must be a real nasty divide in the community

was he right to recieve the yellow card that got him sent off for the dive at the end of the match? Joey Barton didn't think so. I think it was a good decision and should happen more often, what really impressed me was Stuart Pearce after the game admitting Corradi's guilt and saying he would talk to him in the week about it. Good, honest man and we could do with more managers like him to help stamp diving out of the game we all love. Your thoughts?

ok so is there a specific country you have to be from to think what i do? your post is equally moronic. Yes, it's called America. Lot of wankers. Kidding aside, I'm actually very happy that Emre is the kind of man that's confident enough in what he believes in to display it publicly like that. In whatever form it may come, faith is a wonderful thing. It's unfortunate how many cannot appreciate that. (no offense to the American fans out there btw, just kidding.) Even terrorist attaacks? or religious wars? You may appreciate these forms but i certainly do not.

I hope it doesn't become a trademark. I'm not religious and never will be, I don't hold anything against people who are religious but personally i don't want their beliefs interfering with my life. Emre is a muslim and I respect that but i don't want to watch him worship on a newcastle united pitch, i think it is unappropriate to brings personal beliefs into football. Just my thoughts. So you feel the same when a player steps on the pitch, touches the turf and makes the cross symbol on their chest? Or when that Man City player died and France scored and they all raised their finger to the heaven's? *rolls eyes* a cross symbol on the chest is much more discreet than getting on the floor and worshipping something i find offensive. The tribute to the man city player you refer to doesn't mean anything to me personally, to me they are just pointing to the sky. What do you find offensive about the Muslim faith? what i find offensive about most religions is that they expect everybody to agree with them and how preachers try to persuade me that i am an idiot for not believing their religion. i dont see anything about the celebration that offend u...nor the celebration persuade u to believe in muslim...and i think religion is not by force... is by choice... It didn't particularly offend me in all honesty and on reflection after reading others posts i wouldn't be bothered if he did make it his trademark. I suppose at the end of the day i just don't agree with his faith and would prefer for him not to have a religious celebration. I won't say anymore as i can see our opinions are different and wouldn't want it to come inbetween myself and other forumers on what is my first day on the forum blueyes.gif

surely that example is just light hearted banter. I know a welsh man and often wind him up about the whole welsh sheep shagger thing and he replies with comments about Scotland, which happen to be quite similar, it's just a bit of banter.

i think paki when used in relation to a pakistani person is fine, its just like calling a scottish person a scot or an australian person an aussie. However the way it is sang at matches is in relation to a large asian community and so it is derogatory. Not the nicest thing to sing at a match.

Im completely anti-religion but the lad can do whatever the hell he likes and as long as he is scoring he can get out a prayer mate and some statues if he really wants! percisely how would it be "interfering with my life" ?? anyway he just thanking god... A "god" who believes everybody is a muslim and says so in the Kuran. I don't share Emre's belief that this god should be worshipped after a newcastle goal. Who cares, really? Would you prefer him not to score in the future just in case he celebrates like that again? Do you also go into a rage when you're channel-flicking on a Sunday and you come across Songs of Praise? I'm not in a rage nor am i wishing emre to never score again. I have a choice whether or not i want to watch song's of praise so it doesn't bother me atall.

I don't mean to be offensive to anybody on the forum atall, I know muslims, christians and sikh's and have good relationships with them as people but i cannot accept their religion and wish for it not to have to be a part of my life, just because they believe it should be a part of theirs.

why not play owen and martins up front with sibierski just behind them to get flick ons, hold up the ball for them to make runs and get into space and whilst owen and martisn are whizzing around the peno box sibierski can arrive late into the box to get his head on crosses. I think it would work as we would be playing each player to their strengths.
-
Or let's forget all the times he lost the ball and the times he looked like a complete waste of space. Worse than Milner, tbh. Is he worse than Carr though? Carr>Milner>Ameobi Thing is im sure you're serious :jesus: I am. Your pissing on Carr is way out of hand and all of your praising Milner is bollocks as well. Milner and Ameobi are both a complete waste of space, Carr I could be fine with for second choice RB. Milner has been our most dedicated and reliable players this season, how on earth can you say he is a waste of space?
-
I think the good form has all been about the balance of the team being right and allowing each player to play to their strengths knowing others can back up their weaknesses. Butt's defensive qualities are allowing emre to play his own game with confidence and attack the opposition. Parker also has great defensive qualities but i think others just can't rely on him to be sitting behind them and are consciously thinking do i need to cover for parker? and so they aren't being allowed to express their atacking skills. Nobby at right back has just been a real gift, if carr comes back into the team whilst Solano is fit i will be furious. I think Sibierski and martins compliment each other and i am really pleased to see Martins have the right partner which has really improved his game and silenced a few critics. With dyer in the team we look a real attacking threat, he brings so much pace back into the team through the middle of the park and creates so much space not just for himself but for others too. We have a great balance in the team at the moment i only hope that Roeder recognises this and continues to use it. The players seem alot more confident of their own play and the team's overall play, things are really starting to look up for this club.
