  1. I don't know how to feel about this one. We can't afford to lose players, but Xisco has never proved his worth here. IF he is being sent off so we can bring in another player without raising the wage bill, then I'll be happy, but I'll believe that when I see it. Most likely he wanted to leave and we granted him his wish.

  2. why dont ashley just delay the sale until the end of the season, because we all know that is exactly what he's gonna do.  all this PR crap about about potential buyers are all aload of old cock wash.

Because then he'd have to buy players.

He will still have to regardless.

I hope you're right, but I think we'll find out that there's a big difference between what Mike Ashley should do on Tuesday and what he will do on Tuesday.

  4. I've had a kidney stone for the last two months that I can't pass, which I've decided must be the metaphysical manifestation of this transfer saga (pain and frustration!). Anyways, good news, I'm having it removed tomorrow. So if my theory is correct, we should be sold tomorrow night as well.  ;D

  5. Teams that care about the carling cup couldn't afford colo, and teams that could afford colo don't care about the carling cup (or could afford better).

I agree with your "or could afford better" part. I imagine that Arsenal (and possibly Liverpool) will care a great deal about the Carling Cup this year. Wenger has to win something this year and the CC's his best bet. Manchester United treated the Carling Cup like it was the Champions League a few years back when they were winning squat and it served to boost the team's confidence, imo.
