But Lansbury's opinions would be allied with Tamwar Masood? Yes, obviously, we've both read and quoted 'Wuthering Heights', naturally.
-
I think Wenger's opinions wouldn't necessarily be allied with those of semi-Italian blokes on laptops.
-
He's shit at collecting crosses/corners, in general, flaps far too much (though Foster was similar). He's basically very similar to Ben Foster (potential to be as good as Foster was when with us aka amazing), actually, except right-footed and without as excellent a range of kicking.
-
Won't happen, he'll stay with us if he doesn't return to Arsenal (i.e he won't go elsewhere). He seems pretty happy, but the only stuff holding things up are the protracted contract talks with him and Arsenal. (Plus he was pretty poor today)
-
Went round hugging the players pre-match, high-fives all round, unusual. Last player off the pitch, also, applauding all sections of the crowd. I like him, but if we get £3M or so, I'm not too displeased.
-
Andy D'Urso is a twat. So is Nicky Shorey. Fucking hell, two games, two stonewall penalties denied.
-
Oh, judging from his general behaviour pre and post-match, Loachy is off.
-
Yep. I think we should've won though, or at least got a penalty in injury time. The officials were awful and the Forest players whinging/diving every so often didn't help either.

Based on today, I wouldn't worry too much about Forest. They really do have a massive squad of average to decent players and a dirty tactician at the helm, they'll cool off soon enough. It would be a shame. Few teams I'd rather see back in the Prem along with us out of the teams in the current ones in the Championship than Forest. No it wouldn't. They, at the moment, are a horrible little team with some utter twats in their side, lead by a manager who also is a horrible little dwarf.

I'm just pissed off at having to get up to watch us lose to Forest and be angry for the rest of the day.

why the fuck are we the only team kicking off at 12 today?

Really? Strange move, given the IMMENSENESS of Friedel, and Guzan looking superb every time he gets a chance. Is he any good? It's not certain, but someone who claims to be friends with Loach has said it's 'on' (seeing as he's got correct team info etc. all apparently from Scott, I have no reason not to believe it). He's decent, young, big, good shot-stopper and certainly has lots of 'potential'. I find it difficult to believe he's being bought as anything more than back-up/competition for Guzan in preparation for when Friedel eventually retires. He's been very good for us, but we need the money more than anything and he's not been 'unbelievable' (i.e he flaps at crosses and makes mistakes occasionally (he is young)).

Scott Loach to Aston Villa, £3M + add ons (England caps, top 4 finish etc.). You heard it here first.
-
Names are deceptive. It's a comprehensive ffs.

An amazing post there, GG. You could just as easily posted the words "I'm posh and superior and got to a very posh and superior school, unlike you northern scumbags" and had exactly the same effect. Except it's not a posh school at all, even if we do play sports with actual posh schools. And if anything, it's representative of the value of Rugby, especially from someone who was football (in Rous).
-
Interesting note regarding the history of my school (whose primary sport is Rugby and we still don't have a Football team), the person who (as a teacher) changed the school from a Football playing school to a Rugby playing school was none other than Sir Stanley Rous, who later went on to become president of FIFA. Interesting fact for you there, irrelevant to anything.
-
And Bridge, best of all. I don't imagine Kezman plays much sport, looking at him, mind.
-
Croquet, bowls and charades. No, Cricket, Badminton and Football. Used to play Rugby until everyone grew and it became painful being in the middle of the scrum every week whilst being shit at it.
-
Yes.
-
Northerners don't get real sports like.

I seriously doubt it will be us. We can only get loan signings according to Moyes and the local papers. I'd be shocked if we've made a £3m bid for anyone, even more so if it's not 70 pence up front and free tickets to Blood Brothers with the rest paid in installments, bonuses and clauses over the next century. Plus, I don't even understand why we're being linked with keepers when John Ruddy is playing so well for Motherwell. You're the only ones who supposedly have only shown an interest, as opposed to made a bid, from the probably wrong information I've got. The same information says he's definitely off, as he's already arranged a leaving party. Oh well.
-
Also - Scott Loach to Villa/Arsenal/Spurs/Everton for ~£3M.

Maybe they think it's John Barnes they are getting??? Why else would they want him?
