Well let's not get ahead of ourselves here. We might lose 16-0 (Lennon 8, Ekotto 8). Seems certain now that Cabaye is dead. -

We'll see when they're not "unproven" anymore, whatever the hell that means. Tired of it. I stand by what I said. Modric isn't untouchable. He's a fine playmaker with some specialist skills carrying his game. Needs possession to stand out. Also, literately can't wait for Santon to start playing and "prove" himself. He'll piss all over a player like Ekotto. And Marcelo is one of the best fullbacks out there. Aaaand Lennon ffs, are we defending HIM now as well? He's average. Take away his pace and you're left with very little. -

The unproven talk is nauseating. Can't wait for them to get the minimum amount of games (guessing 20-30 games by the sounds of it ) under they're belt to not be "unproven" anymore. It's infuriating. I mean, Marveaux is obviously at least as good as Lennon, but you can't say it, because he hasn't played in the league. If you think about it, it's a shit argument. And Ben Arfa is at least as good as VdV when 100 % match fit. Modric is better than Cabaye though (for now, even though he's hilariously overrated to the point people are comparing him with Xavi). And Ekotto is obviously Marcelo, didn't know that. Don't get me wrong, Tottenham is a better side than us, but they're not that good. People seem to rate them as good as the Top 3 teams. Now before anyone calls me deluded, I'm just pointing out a few players here. Simpson, Saylor, Raylor, Jonas and our strikers aren't as good as the players in the same positions @ Tottenham. That's more than half the starting XI. -

Of course they do, we're punching above our weight at the moment and whilst anybody can beat anybody on the day, man for man they are better than us. Friedel vs Krul (yes, the former is over the f***ing top) Walker vs Simpson King vs Colo Kaboul vs Saylor Ekotto vs Santon Lennon vs Marveaux Modric vs Cabaye Sandro vs Tiote Bale vs Jonas VdV vs HBA Adebayor vs Ba Hard to judge HBA vs VdV and Marveaux vs Lennon yet, due to game time, and not counting previous clubs. WOW at some of your choices. I suppose you'd have every Spurs player as the best The guy doesn't want to compare Marveaux and Ben arfa with VDV and Lennon because of game time yet he pick Santon over Ekotto who's been consistantly one of our best players for a few seasons now. Yes makes sense. What I should have said was that VdV/Ben Arfa and Lennon/Marveaux are more or less of the same quality, but if I just stick my head out and say that, I'm clueless. Because they're not "proven" (Jesus Christ I feel sick just saying that, it's bullshit). Fucking proven. It's not like it's they're first professional club at high level. Same goes for Santon who obviously is not better than the world beater Ekotto. -
1-1. Great goal.

Borini red card after 16 mins Got two yellows, the second for going onto the pitch before he was allowed, due to being on the sideline after an incident.

Yet you can put Santon over EE. Come on. We'll see after the game. -
Not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere, but this is a very interesting quote to me. Maybe I'm reading into it too much, but it makes it sound like maybe things weren't as rosy as everyone thought last season. I heard it was like hell on earth. Nobody said anything, but they were dying inside. Lucky not to get relegated tbh.

I was at the Blackburn and Fulham games in November. Fucking abysmal. And I can't believe people are still rating Hughton over Pardew. The emotional stuff is a bit too much. Yes, he did a great job gathering the squad and building an excellent moral, but Pardew gets the better results (over all), and I really can't see what he's done wrong since taking over (apart from a couple of mind blowing subs, rating Løvenkrands and Shola, and overlooking shit performances despite wins/draws). He is great with the media, carries himself nicely and calmly, and seems to handle the man management superbly. The most important thing is that we're beating teams we should be beating though. Kind of missed that.

So what does this mean? Are they out buying a pen atm for signing the contract?

You mean the 11 that has let in the least goals in the league, is unbeaten and currently sitting at fourth. Hardly the sort of thing that makes me angry. Of course you could put it this way. But what if it had ended 2-2 at Wolves? Would things be different then? Thing is, it's Tottenham, and one of our best players is sitting on the bench, as well as Santon who pisses all over Ryan Taylor/Simpson. Also I think we should play 4-5-1 against them to improve our chances, and by that also swap Obertan with Marveaux.
