I've mentioned this before on this thread - my mates daughter went to Sunderland Uni and reckoned there was always a pile of match tickets on one of the reception desks. The students were told to help themselves, but not to take more than fifteen each! This was during the Reidy years when they were flying as well.

Stan Seymour was a forward and although a legendary figure at the club, he's not getting in ahead of Keegan, Shearer and Dalglish. Joe Harvey was again, not a defender, more a left sided midfielder, could have played as a modern wing back, I suppose. Kinnear is a good shout actually, he played for a decent Spurs side who won things.

Terry Mac only had one game as caretaker manager for us. And who would you leave out of that midfield?
-
If Steve Bruce had been as good as Bobby Moore (which he wasn't), he'd still not get in my team, due to my perfectly rational hatred of that fat waste of skin. Hughton was a pretty decent player, like.

Expand it to eleven a side and you have a cracking team: McFaul Roeder Charlton Hughton Robson Souness Gullit Ardiles Keegan Shearer Dalglish Manager: Joe Harvey.

She was 15 marra, knew what she was doing.

I've thought this for a long time, never seen any statistics to back it up, but for some reason, I always think the team who misses first eventually wins.

Although they only have three games left, the makems aren't mathematically safe from relegation

Building a big stand at the Tyne end of the ground would solve that problem tbf.

Short term pain, long term gain.

Would have been nice if they'd spelled Irving Nattrass's name right...

Only seven minutes extra, thought Klopp would have demanded at least ten.
-
Just past the 70th minute mark, so still over an hour left for Liverpool to steal it.
-
thanks for that.

So has Bruno's goal been ruled out or what?
-
Nope. Will be City again. And there's the equaliser. This'll be a comfortable win for the Blues.
-
Officially.
