Ironically, having owners who will invest in the club, the buildings and the city will bring back the noise, the pride and the passion IMO. It's been the exact opposite when we've been run like a cold hard business. Like Man City? How was the atmosphere at City before they started winning stuff? I don't remember it being that great tbh, plenty of them were converting to Man U as their favourite club. Nah, they were pretty loyal but were the self proclaimed ‘best fans in the world’. There used to several attendance arguments with usas they had the nerve to sing ‘where were you when you were shit’ at us at St James’. Genuine question, do you think the loyal City fans regret any of the success they've had under the new ownership? Even without winning anything, I'll bet they would have enjoyed just being in a position to compete again. I’ve no idea mate. I used to catch up with the King of the Kippax boys when I went there but have lost touch. If I was going to answer it then I’d say I’d have been most disappointed with the Hughes era. Seeing a prick like Robinho sulking on the bench with his earphones in would’ve pissed me off. If you get a manager like Pep or Rafa who connects the players with the area then it’s great, despit the money they’re on and you can’t argue with what’s happened to a run down, wasteland of an area.

Yeah I agree with this. To be honest they could rename the club, turn St James' into student accommodation, build a new ground at the Silverlink, publicly behead Keegan - as long as we compete for Champion's League places and spend big money in the transfer windows it's all good by me. Thought this lad was supposed to a good WUM?

They were decent fans. I think the same thing that happened to them will happen to us. It’s a fatigue really more than anything. Yeah they had decent crowds when they were where the mackems are now. They are just normal arrogant Mancs in the hear then before you see them Noel Gallagher mould and mouthed off too much. Maine Road was a good old ground, bloody nightmare to get in and out of though.

Stopped there. Why? He's got a very valid point. ME politics and power playing out in front of our eyes. As has been said, there's no way the PL will reject them, they'll be desperate for the money and will be terrified they go to one of the other leagues especially in the current financial climate.

Was his fanzine around as early as that? I remember he did the one a few years back that covered Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough. Tell me more about Steve, the young lad in the Mildburn paddock. Yeah I’m sure it was called no9 or similar. A5 size and done with his mates like fat Matty and some fucker who’s name I can’t remember who looked like that thing from the Goonies. There was a few of them who were in the D paddock, used to live heworth/wardley area from memory. I’m talking ‘91-93 time.

He’s a bigger cunt now than he was in the early 90’s when I came across him and his dickhead mates while standing in the Milburn D paddock. That was when he was still at the stage of writing love letters to the Kray twins in prison and trying to sell his shitty fanzine which I can’t remember the name of properly - something like No. 9 I think.

Certainly not the last few pages. Depends whether you're interested in discussing the moral ramifications of the club that is supposed to represent you and your city being owned by these people. Personally I'm incredibly conflicted and I think it's more worth discussion than "#cans Announce Mbappe, when's the flight arriving?!" shite that makes me want to cringe myself into an early grave.
