I've mentioned our recent woes to my lass (who has no interest in NUFC whatsoever) and she says she's never seen me happier football-wise than the Championship season, as we were winning games, it was cheaper to go to the match, etc. In stark contrast to the normal grumpy weekends she has to put up with. I asked her flat-out if that meant she wanted us to get relegated and she was very non-committal. yeah it feels shit- but thats the season i went to most game in last 10 years, due to cash turnstiles, evening games- probs be the same, Im saying my passion has gone- yet if we go down, again I will be going to more games.

thing thats gets me- for a successful newcastle team, there is almost no limit to the amount of money our fans wouls spend on the club, we could match what the fans put into any club imo. so frustrating, ambition could be financed by the increased revenues it generates, so why not?

not all but most, but also with age, 20 years ago a result really affected me. tbh, its freed up loads of time for me leisure and work time, spend a lot less time on here or anywhere else conected with football- got half my garden looking lovely- by the time we are relegated i will have the other half done.
