I don't know what Pardew has or hasn't said but that really is a one sided outlook. Can the opponents not score after the 70th minute? As it was the game was over when they scored because we had absolutely no chance of scoring twice in the remaining time. That wouldn't have been the case if they'd scored during the first 70 minutes. It would have been a tough ask but it was a possibility that we could have come back, we didn't have that option later on. you actually realy think we could attack like the last twenty mins for a full 90? seriously ? edit- almost every pro ive heard today say this tactic was the correct approach btw. of course you disagree with them all simply because you dont like the manager. ridiculous, he stated theres more chance of the opponents scoring in that 70 mins if you attack them, simple fact, and in this scenario that would have ended the game by half time. People are just making things up.

ok aye it is a bit of an overplayed card like. might use it less often..... right, basically want to see what this team is capable of with a manager I think they believe in, and no european football. Top 8 and doing something in domestic cup is what I expect- by doing something I mean trying to get as far as possible- if we go out fair enough, but go down fighting. OK then, so top 8 with a good cup run. I could probably live with that too. I think (especially with a few additions) we could aim higher though. Now, style of football. You reckon there are any aspirations to play better stuff than this? I'm not sure how much longer I can watch it. I hate watching us. Did you forget that we had to score at least 2 goals? no- we came close to that also- only barcelona have managed that and we came close.

this is true, somebody mentioned the law of averages- well when we did attack for 20mins - they did score , so on that average if we had attacked all night they would have got 4 and we would have needed , erm....loads to go through.

Exactly, I'd imagine I'm classed as a "hater" and was horrified to see the lineup, the pre-match comments, and the first 70 minutes as I'm proud of our club and would always like to see us go out to get teams.
