lovely player, but I always felt too easily robbed of the ball, lacked strength. never forgotten for the free kick in the rain. edit- that attack was something else tho

I saw both, I think Waddle was better than Robert.

end of season would be my guess. think ambramovic thought he had found a new moronhio, but he appears to antagonise players more tham motivate them, imo.

Young Kenny once sat on the ball during a game against Luton anarl. A far more memorable and legendary event than what the Irish beanpole ever did for Sunlun. Kenny used to pay into the Popular and get into the Leazes by squeezing through the fence when the copper at the front looked away. i used to do that from the a wing paddock to get into the gallowgate, sometimes making it all the way from the E wing. hey ive seen you btw? ok it was 30 years ago when you were slim. we used to do it aswell, there was some of the gaps in that fence were far too wide, piece of p*ss for a skinny 15 year old. tho there was one game when a kid got impaled on the spikes, i think between the e-wing and centrepaddock. also used to try to get into the seats.. there was secret passage ways in the old west stand you know, led to all sorts of mysteriuos places, but easy to get up to the seats. not always easy to get a seat once there tho.

up to 84n was good, then it went a bit shit when jack charlton managed us, we just lingered around lower mid to just above relegation for a few seasons and went down, plying in front of 20 odd thousands for most of the time. The fact theer was no stand at the leazes end for the whole of the 80s , was a big miss.

oh- I personally think we should look for diplomatic solutions to these problems you mention, rather than military options, which growing up during the times of the worse of NI and the middle east, generally dont really work out for the best IMO.

i can worry about a couple of things at once, this is one of them. ta So you are not worried about Argentina's stance over the Falkland Islands and another possible invasion of the islands, which we cannot allow, the way Syria is bombing and killing its own people in order to prop up a despotic dictatorship, Iran developing nuclear weapons which could very well lead to a nuclear holocaust in the middle east, as Israel are sabre rattling as I write this. Our soldiers being killed or maimed by the Taliban in Afghanistan, then there are the austerity measures imposed by the current government, the state of the Euro, and in particular Greece ( dont overlook the fact that if you plan on going to Greece for your hols this summer, you wont be able to use a credit card to pay for meals etc. Its cash only!). If none of this causes you the slightest moment of concern all I can say is you live a very insular life or you have found a very comfortable hole in the sand!

niall tried, and failed and has fucked off, no coincidence, despite smb claims it is.
