Unpopular opinion - don't think the sponsorless shirt looks good at all. I've had a few, but I do think they look like a hockey ref shirt more than anything.

    looks absolutely class on me

Ten Hag's an awful pillock, like.

[Robotic] First of all I must compliment opponent... *criticises his own team*

He's as uncharismatic and cold as you can get. Will be glad to see the back of him when he's inevitably torpedoed.

I hope he stays there forever  he’s a terrible manager.

How's the fit on these things? Large areet if I'm usually a large? Would never usually bother but it looks great without the sponsor and almost gives it an element of timelessness. Thanks to those for the heads up.

definitely size up. I’ve got an XL that fits like a L

Castore is shite as a company but design wise their stuff has been decent.

I don’t think it’s unfair saying  other than a few shirts adidas have been pretty bland for Newcastle and as far as the ‘nothing official’ I can only comment on what I’ve seen like everyone else over the last 3 pages. In other words kindly piss aff you are boring

  5. I've always been firmly in the striped back camp too... until this season. it looks unreal with the white panel. we looked class on Saturday and even better in the CL with the white shorts and socks.

anyway, I'm going to wait for the official pictures before making any judgements. these mockups always look terrible. wait until we see Joelinton in it.

As usual with these culture war things, everyone involved is shite.

The new kits are absolutely lush tbf, love that knitted style.

really dislike the collar on the home, other than that I agree. both are a definite DH jobby, anyway!

disclaimer: it's the shape and style of the collar I dislike, not the colour of the flag on the back of it.

Generalizing here, but I find it weird how for so many people the only thing that is pure and constitutes a good atmosphere are grown up men standing and singing different songs in the same (too fast) tempo while clapping with some shouting when we have a massive pressure against the opposition, at goals and poor decisions sprinkled in between.

Let some fans bring instruments, like that cunt at Portsmouth. Do some gimmicky stuff like the Iceland fans. Let someone use a megaphone to get others going.

it's not even the singing for me, its about being engaged in the match and actively supporting the team. we've seen numerous times the effect a ferocious crowd can have on a game, yet thousands of "fans" are happy to turn up and sit in total silence or just twist on and moan their tits off. we should be RoArInG ThE LaDs on at every possible opportunity.

not sure how you can solve it, tbh. the obvious way is to get like-minded fans together in one area, and just hope the positive energy spreads.

  8. PSG was good, but I knew it was missing something. zorbs and a half-time quiz!

ah well, the club will do whatever they like anyway. as proven with the safe standing craic. they’d already decided what they were doing before that meeting even took place.

interested to know if club officials were pushing any specific ideas or were especially receptive to some.

Im not in favour of moving, but that sounds more like an opportunity, than a problem.

absolutely! just saying, it’s nowhere near perfect as it stands.

IMO we have to move to the arena site, it’s a perfect location. I would love to move up to Leazes Park but can’t see it happening. Get another bridge like the Millennium over the Tyne for access for the southern Mags etc.. there I’ve sorted it pay me!

wey it’s far from perfect because there’s fuck all down there! the surrounding area would need some serious investment and regeneration.

  11. they're not daft enough to even consider moving out of the city centre. our attendances would drop dramatically if we weren't winning every week. a huge number of people only bother their arses because it's convenient and there's plenty of boozers around.
