  1. really quite poor from Dubs, this. I know it was reported as a knock, but are we safe to assume he refused to play against Tranmere?

absolutely no chance we should be loaning him out, never mind to bloody Manure. stick him with the U23’s if he’s being difficult. we don’t owe him anything.

Nah they’ve changed their mind, Hendo in with Pickford as assistant and Bally as the cone man!

 their list of “legends” always makes me chuckle. like everything about them, proper tinpot

Romano says he landed last night, Downie says he's flying in today. Who is telling porkies?

seen a blacked out people carrier outside the Hotel du Vin last night. that’s all I’m saying.

Darlow’s not shite  he’s not at Dubravka’s level and certainly not Pope’s, but he can do a job in there. We’ll likely get a replacement for Dubravka at some point.

to be fair I didn’t say he was shite. I said he was proper shite.

  5. all the big teams loan their fringe players to mid table teams, so it kind of makes sense. the only issue is Darlow is proper shite. maybe there’s another keeper on the way in?

There's a fair bit of talk around Man City having got off with it because they employed someone to investigate UEFA corruption.

Too much money, too much power. Doesn't help that UEFA are almost certainly corrupt as well like.

might be common knowledge I’m not sure, but I know for a fact they’ve hired private investigators to follow potential new signings and do extensive background checks.

  7. I know it was only a draw, but it still hasn’t really sunk in how good that was. not just as a result but the game as a whole, it felt like a bit of a throwback. just two teams trying to outscore each other, in very different ways. I absolutely loved it, and probably still would have loved it if they nicked one at the end to make it 3-4. that’s what football is all about.

I usually avoid watching Man City because I find them a bit boring, but Haaland makes them a different team. what a beast he is. he’s got everything.

Maxi was brilliant, I wish he could do that every week because he gets the whole stadium off their seat when he’s in the mood. get him to the metro centre before every match!

We’re Newcastle and we’re going to eventually win the league.

  8. don't really care about stats, he looks better than Ekitike, in my opinion. a lot more controlled, powerful, better technique, higher awareness.

I hope we get him, could turn out to be a very shrewd bit of business.
