Don't think he'll be too fussed. He'll have got a big pay-out. He's got off very lightly IMO, knowing full well he had no clue how to turn things around at "his club".

Can't quibble with signing a couple of experienced heads though, we couldn't have known that everything was going to go this well. Even Clark was probably meant to be backup. I'd rather have signings we don't end up needing than a threadbare squad like every other season.
I love making pointless posts to simply agree with something a poster has said. Spot on, and thanks for giving me the opportunity
How's your day Ian mate?

Like with Kirchoff, I still can't decide if he's any good or not. Took a while to hit form, then ripped it up for 5-6 games when we were desperate and against teams either already on their holidays, or with other competitions to worry about.
Completely different player playing on the right then left, at Palace he can't play where he wants because of Zaha
I actually don't blame him for leaving to stay in the prem, but in hindsight he should have stayed. I'd take him back if an offer came up 100%
Did anyone really need hindsight to know how this move would turn out? It was one of the most predictable scenarios in football.
Well aye, Andros did
Fair enough

But Premiership. But London. But England.
Bahaha! f*** off, c***!
This
He could easily have been sitting on about 8 goals and 10 assists in the Championship by now. Confidence sky high, improving both individually and tactically under a brilliant manager, and somewhat taking more control of his own England credentials.
Thick as mince.

What a f***ing manager. Still buzzing that he's here.
Dat win ratio is f***ing staggering like! If karma is a real thing, then we will have suffered for so long only so that this fella can come in and bring us the success we have been craving. It's going to be some sight to behold!

Theirs is the early game today. A solid 3-0 away win would certainly be a great start to the weekend!

Mitrovic getting borderline abuse, when we have had f***ers like Cisse and Sissoko recently who couldn't give a f***ing damn about playing for NUFC. Also, if we get promoted this season, Mitro will hardly find a "better" opportunity than playing for a Newcastle United in the PL managed by Rafa f***ing Benitez!
Totally agree with Ronaldo that if Mitro can learn to play to his strengths only, and Rafa finds a way to mask his weaknesses, we would have a unique option to vary our game as there aren't many of his type around.

Turned down the job repeatedly until he got sacked & was thirsty for cash, was utterly s**** & complicit in the club going down, laughed to reporters after pastings, didn't walk, got paid off very handsomely, turns up punditing in us without a shred of dignity. Aye, great English guy.
This! The only silver lining is that he held the reigns long enough for Rafa to become available, and if he hadn't been so fucking shit, maybe we would have never gone for the best thing to happen to NUFC since SBR.

Lame handbags from a bunch of no-personality half-wits, and a young goalkeeper new to the country and the league. Despite the wonderful Klopp being there now, there is still something sickly and nauseating about LFC past, present and future.

I love how every time Man City play, Joe Hart's name is mentioned about 100 times as if he is Buffon.
Despite the fact that Hart is pretty average himself and made his own fair share of howlers.
I'd take Hart every day of the week over Bravo
It;s not even about that. It's the hoopla that was generated by Guardiola's comments and sensationalized by the media that has turned this issue into a circus. No one would have questioned Guardiola buying Bravo as a second choice GK, and putting him in from the start as soon Hart made his first howler. There really isn't very much between them in terms of who is clearly the better GK.

Fuck the haters and the pessimists

He's a demotivated waste of time. We can surely find someone equally talented and more motivated for the figures he'd likely cost.
This. I trust Rafa to make the call.

Going to this one along with a whole host of others, about 10 thus far, family from the West Midlands, one a Birmingham City fan who is in the home end. This is a family reunion of sorts, family we haven't seen in 20 years until recently will be attending all on me. Looking forward to the pre and post match drinks and chat more than the actual game tbh. My sis is coming from London as well so cant wait actually!
Who is this, and what have you done with HTT?

What in the actual fuck are some people on these days? Periods? Booze? Industrial grade ammonia? N-O is like the twilight zone at the moment. I really don't get it.

Beaten by the better ref tonight lads, unlucky.

Maybe some big players will sign for them for one match to play the "final", and have it be a charity event. I could see the likes of Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo going for that.

This so tragic. Knot in my stomach thinking how cruel this fragile life can be sometimes. RIP :'(

Lukaku WBA?

In a bizarre way, i kind of miss the days when the SackPardew campaign was at it's height. Some of the stuff that came out, like the Welsh Town banner, were hilarious. That banner alone was genius.
Yeah, now it's all "Thank You Rafa" and "Rafalution" and "Hey, another win!" and "Whoa, that looked like football!" Bo-Ring.
