  1. People hate Man Utd because of their years of last minute goals, the legions of insufferable glory supporters, the referee calls, the media love-ins. OGS is doing a good job at the moment. Being in the title race is what I would expect from the money they've spent. Winning the title would be a brilliant (over)achievement. Bruno Fernandes has been a fantastic signing. He has done very little in big games, today being an exception - maybe this will now change. ============= It's possible for all the above statements to be true. It's not a sole choice of "they're shit" or "they're Brazil 1970".
  2. 9 in 11. Absolute lunatic.
  3. Yeah, played the odd game in the league too. I don't know what to make of us. We haven't played well since the first 4 games of the season yet still have a realistic shot at the top 4, and certainly top 6 (not that I think we'll get the former). We've struggled for consistency but at least we look more organised recently yet still thrown some stinkers, e.g. very recently at home to West Ham. Obviously got full faith in Carlo though and he'll need some more time and a couple more windows to mould the team more.
  4. What's this absolute shite? You know fine well you have to adopt one school of thinking (OGS/Bruno are shit/overrated vs they're messiahs) and not change your mind. How dare you acknowledge there may be truth to both sides of it. Nonsense.
  5. Richarlison has really regressed recently, can barely control the ball.
  6. I'd be raging. Very unfortunate that man. But your SOT-based bet builders consistently seem to come quite close, 1 or 2 of those will land very soon.
  7. Stefan Savic is a maniac. In his last 10 games, on only 2 occasions has he not been booked. Can get a little over 3/1 tonight as a single if you wanted. I've doubled him up with Correia who has 3 cards in his last 4 and up against the tricky Carrasco, 16/1 for the double.
  8. Another really impressive performance from Leicester, without Vardy and some other rotation. Arguably the hardest non-PL tie they could've got and conceded early, but come back to pretty much control the game and win comfortably.
  9. Feel they blew it a bit with their start, albeit they can beat anyone in the league when on form. I'd usually say it opens it up for Juve but they don't have quite that level of consistency under Pirlo, so far anyway. Inter taking full advantage by currently drawing at Udinese. Napoli taking full advantage with a pathetic defeat at Verona.
  10. I know this is nothing ground breaking, but it's hard to exaggerate Foden's ability. Sensational player and the potential to be one of the modern greats, I rate him that highly personally. Being coached by a genius will help, too.

  12. Atalanta botting Meelan at the San Siro.
  13. Nice of the chasing pack in Germany, which was threatening to be a decent title race, just surrender and hand Bayern another walkover.
  14. Bogle looks a bet to score today. Been in good form for Sheff Utd, operates on the right side and gets well forward. Been firing the shots off recently and scored last round. Home to Plymouth, 15/2 looks way too big. But what do I know?
  15. Even the anti-gambling rhetoric is carefully worded to entice people in. "When the fun stops, stops" - bookies paint it purely as fun, which invites your Average Joe to stick a fiver on a mad accumulator on a Saturday afternoon. This is where, the odd big win aside, bookies clean up the most. It sets a context whereby it's almost like a lottery, and this in turn makes them fucktons of money. It's rotten. And this is coming from someone who bets regularly, but with controlled stakes and set limits that don't remotely impact my day to day finances if I'm on a bad run. When the "stop gambling" message is worded in such a way that it actually in a way promotes it, you know it's fucked up.
  16. In true Partridge style, and another!
  17. Haaland with yet another goal tonight, unsurprisingly entertaining game this. Is it a controversial opinion to rate him higher than Mbappe?
  18. Chester too at 5/1 looks long. On him and Sarr, good spot.
  19. As feared. Not a single goal kick in the last 15 mins.
  20. Its more if he even gets chance to time waste.
  21. Great minds, literally just put it on. He's been warned.
  22. What?! Surely not. That's 3 or 4 times the price I'd have thought.
