  1. I do agree all the pressure is on us, we should be beating them as we are levels above
  2. Gil needed to play Son in immediately, would have been able to get a shot off
  3. Spurs playing well the last 5-10 mins, getting into dangerous positions
  4. Aye, we aren't finishing above City so I'd rather the likes of Villa, Spurs, Man U to drop points
  5. Ffs That was a brilliant counter attack
  6. And I'm sure in most seasons we finish 1st or 2nd Helps we have more teams that tend to get further in the competitions
  7. This fixture could do with an early City goal
  8. If City can beat Spurs then it's been a decent weekend for us Gained 3 points on Man U and Brighton, gained 2 points on Villa Whilst Liverpool losing would have been nice, realistically they along with Arsenal/City will finish ahead of us
  9. Yeah, replays are there Next season they are talking about removing replays
  10. We have Liverpool away (Monday) and City at home (Saturday) either side of this game but at least there is a slightly normal amount of break
  11. Wow, finally happened Preferred a home draw but we'll take it
  12. Yeah, I'm not sure about him playing further forward. He absolutely could do it at a decent level but he's clearly so good at being a full back I don't see the reason for him to push forward. There's usually two reasons a full back ends up further forward, their attacking game (shooting, passing, crossing) is elite and/or their defensive game isn't that good. That doesn't apply to Livramento. I think he remains a full back and a bloody class one at that.
  13. There was one in particular where he spun Maguire, he left him in no man's land I thought he was really good when dropping deep, either retained possession well and dragged their defenders out or managed to turn them He's brilliant, just hope he can stay injury free
  14. Yeah, noticed this too Had a quick check and tonight he had 52 touches, completing 36 out of 40 passes Against Chelsea he had 38 touches, completing 25 out of 29 passes As a team we had similar amount of possession (416 passes Vs Chelsea and 432 Vs Man U) So the stats show he's on the ball a bit more, which supports the eye test that he's being trusted more and rightly so, as he's mostly making the right choice when he gets it
  15. He was brilliant today (I mean he's always brilliant) but the way he just kept carving them open Gutted he didn't quite have his shooting boots on
  16. That was his best game for us, so composed, excited to see how far he can really go He's always played with confidence but when you more than hold your own away to PSG then it's bound to have given him an extra boost and that was evident tonight
  17. Been the better side by some distance, played some lovely stuff but unfortunately we haven't taken the lead And the longer it stays like this they'll come into it more with their options off the bench
  18. Heckingbottom was seemingly under pressure a month or so back, has done nothing since The result today was awful, be surprised if he's still in a job come Monday afternoon
  19. Yeah, got a horrible feeling I can't shake that we'll not get a positive result At full strength with options off the bench I'd be confident we smash them
  20. It will be Alex, they obviously aren't aware we have another Murphy
  21. Finishing 3rd and there still being a decent chance of qualifying has taken a lot of jeopardy out of the group stages
