Argentina have been brilliant and fully deserved to be 2-0 But we've seen Argentina have shown vulnerability in the second half so this game is far from over, especially if France go route 1

They were the same against England but they'll hang in there and then score first, seems predictable to me

I can see it being a cagey affair but France taking the lead in the first half and then they kill the game off in the second with a counter and win 2-0 The Messi winning story would be perfect, which is why it won't happen

2nd option for me I think as a club that would push us along way more than a League Cup win would

That's how I see it, France being the holders puts them under slightly less pressure and this France squad will still be amongst the heavy favourites for the next World Cup Not so sure that will be the case for Argentina as Messi won't be around then

I get that but if Argentina lose then the same social media will be insufferable the other way, the Ronaldo fans will be unbearable and will see it as some sort of victory for him

I badly want Messi to win it, just feel that France will do enough to win it. I think France have the better squad but also less pressure, they're the holders so losing it feels less disastrous and they'll also be very much genuine contenders in 2026 whereas I don't see this Argentina side being much of a threat (though still some time for that to change). Also, I think France will level with Brazil in the next 3-4 tournaments.
