No need to upset squad balance at this stage. Summer would be a different, as its not this season. A CM to help push Bruno forward in time and a winger to add to our relatively poor numbers in that position aye.

Ronaldo hasnt been able to maintain his game endurance the way Messi has. Ronaldo to his credit has been able to be 2 or 3 different players in his career, Messi has pretty much been one. Neither is better than the other, there's arguments why both could be seen as better than the other. I still think peak Ronaldo matches peak Messi, in entirely different ways, and maybe Ronaldo has had more than one peak? Maybe thats horseshit. I think its unfair to say his greatest personal achievement is being part of Messi v Ronaldo, he didnt create that, "we" did. It is sad to see a bit of a clamour from him in recent years to justify his "greatness" in the whole Ronaldo v Messi universe. He neednt. We should all disavow the whole Messi v Ronaldo circus. I cant think over any time in history Ive read about where this kind of weird comparison has happened in football.

I'm a big fan of Sterling and he's dragged England through many a game, but he's been poor for a little while now. He was underwhelming in the early games and there was no real need to take Saka off. Its not like he was done in or playing poorly.

Especially for Sterling. Rashford Id have got, Sterling just isnt anywhere near his best. Weve done well this tournament I think, and we didnt deserve to lose in 90 tonight. Would like to see some moves from the England camp to get some of the younger players in and playing regularly. We can do better tham Maguire, Stones, Coady and Dier as 4 CB options. Dad Bod Shaw isnt awful but again I'd like to see alternatives. No idea who Henderson's replacement is going to be but I think that central midfield area is where we need to be making some smart decisions, but we might not have the players tbf.
