Hate to say it but I think a lot of credit is likely to go to Henderson. He sounds like a exceptional organiser and figurehead for not only players at Liverpool but generally in the PL. Mackem cunt.

Quoting Milner.

Franchise football diverts drastically needed funds from local clubs and communities. Is that true? Get 'em!

You and I are men of entirely different motivations

Sunday's I suppose nearly, but not Saturday. It's not laziness to try and protect the integrity of a product to ensure it has the highest audience possible at the best price. You're arguing for the devaluing of an existing product. But to try and persuade people they are getting the same value, give them more bells and whistles. That's short term planning and you'll have to keep updating and diversifying to retain that interest. But then looking at European football as a worldwide product is just wrong. Coming up with a new group of clubs and new league that can fit in to this worldwide schedule to squeeze the last penny out of every minute would be what you're looking for, but then it's not the same product with the same pull. You've just managed to fill the hole you'd found. Where no one was really asking for it to be filled. Shoe-horning the current structure in to that proposition you'll end up losing the current product that people consume anyway. It's all terribly short term vision.

That would be grim as fuck.

level of competition?
-
Arsenal could really come out of this bad if it doesnt go ahead. Their chronic lack of investment means they aint getting in any existing lucrative competition any time soon and their debts are massive. They seem desperate to be able to start paying some stuff back and reluctant to spend.
-
They'll need an infrastructure to be able to do that and if they were threatening to start in August there's no where near enough time for them to get that sorted. They must have a partner or agreed carriers already.

I wouldnt allow the naming rights anyway

Not buying that, personally.

Everything completed? You got the stamina to be putting all that work in all the time?
-
If the UK government legilate against it so it's not possible surely English clubs wont be liable for any lawsuit for leaving or previously arranged fee because it is no longer lawful? @Shays Given Tim Flowers?

I mean I'm absolutely certain there is either an existing media platform or subscription service or group of people involved in such things, that are going to be huge drivers of this. Like I said before in the end it's nothing but content creation to gain fees and ad space. If someone like Amazon come have exclusive rights to a brand new competition, then they have their extra content to be able to "diversify". It's a simple as that. The lack of competiton involved obviously supports that.

Someone needs to off this cunt.

Chelsea can probably live without it but are the club with the least fan push back seemingly. Given the vast majority of them are idiots. If Spirit of Shankley dont go full on for this then I'll be incredibly disappointed. Annoyingly I think Liverpool are the only fan group of the 6 capable of taking this on and getting a result. Hopefully Neville can whip up a storm and if Ferguson has some stronger words maybe Man United fans can muster up some kind of fucking emotion to have a go back. Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs Ive got no fucking hope for fans pressure wise but I hope I'm pleasantly surprised. And it's time for City fans to prove all of what has seemed empty sentiment so far about their love for the club and the city and community. I don't hold much hope there either, mind. The best chance for pressure is from some of the more grounded and connected clubs and fans not included in the big 6 to make the environment for it so hostile the big 6 have no choice but to run off with their tails between their legs. So us, Leeds, Wolves, Villa, West Ham, Leicester, Everton. The big 6 might think they dont care about the opinions of fans from other clubs now but this is our league and our game and our towns and cities and we have to make them terrified. Its a shame we've lost the passion of the likes of Wednesday, Forest, Birmingham... Christ even Sunderland fans as representation of the emotion of football in this country as they're not in the PL. But all of them as well. If this isnt a united football fans pushback from everyone with as much anger as possible, then we'll end up losing, Maybe not now but not too distant in the future. Kill it dead now and fucking burn the cunts.
-
I know the suggesting the players of the 6 English clubs at least all agreeing as a union to hand in transfer requests or even go on strike sounds absolutely fucking ridiculous but to me anyway it's exactly the response that's needed. Go fucking nuclear and tear the cunts down.

Really impressed with Neville and Carragher tonight. Spoken really well and not held back one jot.
-
Gary Neville going in fucking hard and it's mint

Stream died. What's he saying?

Big fan of what Leeds as a group of fans and as a club have all done tonight, mind. Needed a game including clubs and fans capable of a reaction like of this. Imagine if it had been Burnley - Chelsea. Props to the owner and manager for the shirts and the banners and for the fans for getting down there, was half tempted to go myself. Fair play to those Liverpool fans too. Hopefully we'll see a lot more during the week.
