Croatia are a strong team, even without Modric. Currently playing Italy in the next round if they finish 2nd, Italy have a tough match either way if they win the group.

Im a broken record on this but i just feel Roy doesnt understand the impact of forwards on creativity. He's playing one upfront so we can create with the ball, or he lets Sturridge drop out of the area like today. But that leaves the players outside the box with literally only Kane or Vardy to find? Ofcourse creativity looks poor, you have one guy against 2/3 defenders what kind of magic pass is meant to overcome that?

Not sure the goal last week helped his game. Its fine to drop off every now and again, but our best chances were vardys knock on to him that was blocked & the ball over the top to him. If you have two in there, the cbs will be stretched. Instead as we were struggling to put in incisive passes, he kept dropping out of the box & was putting in crosses to Bertrand at one point. Not what you want from a striker consistantly.

They just put everyone behind the ball, defended well tbf We needed Vardy & Sturridge both upfront, but Sturridge came way to deep & tried to act as playmaker isolating Vardy against a defence already sitting back.

Trying to play through them when theyre packing the middle, better off letting Kane and Vardy run at crossea imo

We're playing one upfront. Its no use having another striker on the pitch if hes dropping so deep. We need to pull a cb off Vardy.

Not sure how its worked out, if they & Iceland both finish on 3pts with an equal GD & results against eachother does it go to goals scored? s*** aye, I was looking at the wrong group Iceland beat Austria, Portugal beat Hungary then? Yeah, Iceland need to win by atleast the same amount as Portugal and they'll top the group. If Iceland draw 0-0 and Portugal 1-1, then they're equal on GD, Goals scored & it goes to disciplinary apparently. Then rankings.

People are mad like. Just clueless. If we're going to go by who players and managers think is the best player ever, then it's Paul Scholes. Scale does exist though, you can be good in big games without stepping up in the biggest. I think they're suggesting Ronaldo hasnt been at his best in the biggest games of his career, others have. Michael Laudrup is generally the guy voted by players/managers as being one of the best of all time in more recent times, Scholes was just an underused England player.
