  3. says they'll offer him 90k a week and will include a clause saying he can go on the cheap if they go down and that dear old 'arry is keen to do "whatever it takes to sign him" ie typical press linking redknapp with every tom dick and harry and convinced that any player in the world would walk over hot coals to join QPR under the leadership of such a legendary manager......god I hate the media

    Shola Ameobi

its coming to a stage quickly where the clubs (european ones anyway) are starting to fight back significantly against international football and with FIFA and UEFA (through the mouth of its dictator Platini) saying the world cup should be in the middle of the season for the one in Qatar and the major clubs are not going to go along with that so easily. Back on topic the one thing I really don't get is why the hell is the ACN on every 2 years (never mind the fact its on one year after the other this time) when the norm for the majority of major sporting tournaments is every 4 years.
  5. What's he currently on? guardian says £4.9m a year so roughly 90k odd a week
  6. Didn't think Levy would fork out the kind of wages he'd want
  7. I would have had Fellaini ahead of Cazorla myself and Berbatov or Benteke ahead of Rooney but hey ho
  8. I'm optimistic, I think they'll only put 3 at most past us
  9. Redknapp denied that yesterday for what is worth (probably next to nothing since its unlikely he'd want it hed want to admit he snubbed them)
  10. What are the details of this? I know it's more than in previous years, but how much more are we talking here? http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2012/jun/13/premier-league-tv-rights-3-billion-sky-bt Won't that just mean prices will sky rocket? If income rises across the board, I wouldn't think so. Although, a club with truly ambitious owners and a club like ours may treat the income differently. So Everton who are generally just skint, but spend when they can, may invest it in the team, whereas Ashley may take it as drawings Edit: Oh you mean, ticket prices. Thought you meant player prices. so did I and they will and every single agent must be rubbing their hands in glee over the prospective amount of cash they're about to get next summer and in jan out of desperate sides
  11. thats a ticking time bomb, hard to see Sturridge starting at the lone striker position for long if Suarez decides to throw his own hissy fit over where to play
  12. What are the details of this? I know it's more than in previous years, but how much more are we talking here? not sure I recall off the top of my head but I think I remember that next season the side thats 20th will get more cash in total than City did winning it last season
  13. GW18 Wigan 0-3 Arsenal Man City 5-0 Reading Newcastle 2-1 QPR Southampton 2-1 Sunderland Tottenham 0-0 Stoke City West Brom 1-2 Norwich West Ham 1-2 Everton Liverpool 2-0 Fulham Swansea 0-2 Man Utd Chelsea 2-0 Aston Villa
  14. its the fine thats bugging me, 300k fine for being in a financial mess but Serbia gets an 80k fine for Racism. Good to see UEFA's priorities are in order........
  15. either way their squads going to get picked apart in the summer
  16. Fat chance easy to punish a smaller club like Malaga than any of the real European power houses Meanwhile PSG sign a deal with the qatar tourist board worth €200m a season and UEFA will do the sweet sum of fuck all about it FFP is a load of shite which is going to go for the easy targets
  17. aren't Argie clubs broke for the most part? How can it even be taken moderately seriously
  18. Simon Clancy ‏@SiClancy UEFA has fined Malaga 300,000 euros for an overdue bank balance & banned them from the next 4 Europa or Champions League competitions.
  19. Arsenals game on Boxing day postponed, gives them a rather unfair advantage
  20. you'd think so but this is Roman, he may just clone Torres instead
  21. Rory Smith ‏@RorySmithTimes As I suspect most newspapers will be reporting tomorrow, #LFC should announce Sturridge+Ince in the first couple of days of Jan. Deals done.
  22. whats dear old colin been making up lately?
  23. Was just thinking about this. Am I wrong in thinking there would be uproar in the press if it was AVB/Spurs who did the same? Rodgers is getting a free pass in contrast. I really need to let my paranoia out from time to time, sorry everyone. FWIW I think he is doing an annoyingly good job. I agree AVB would be a laughing stock in the press if he had come out with the same thing but they hate him for some reason and Spurs aren't exactly the most popular club with them after sacking media icon Redknapp. Meanwhile Rogers is getting a free ride with the utter tripe he's coming out with and the fact he's in love with himself
