  1. Hope Hull wins so Phil Brown gets a lease of life, he's too fun to have around.
  2. One of the things I despise about Liverpool is how it's the favorite English club of the Spanish media (particularly Madrid's), just because Benítez manages it, and if you're Spanish you're expected to want them to win.
  3. Any word on Modric's fitness? I would really like to see him play again.
  4. In my opinion: Modric. Plus a loss of confidence after a first string of bad results.
  5. They did the rounds last season & some came up with the classic of something along the lines of "it is how latin lads hang out". I don't grab other guys' nipples and kiss them in the mouth. How do you think Spanish football and the fans would react if he was to admit bisexuality, I know there are questions over Ramos and Guti famously dated a transvestite. He'd never see the end of it. Some population segments in Spain are still pretty homophobic. Although since he's a secondary important player in a small club, he could be well ignored (i.e., Guti gets lots of abuse because he plays for Real) Is there any openly gay footballer, by the way? Going back a bit, but Justin Fashanu was openly gay. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Fashanu Hell, what a sad story.
  6. Dunno, guess it will be good if it wasn't considered a thing that has to be kept as a secret. But I guess it's not worth the hassle for a footballer. Sergio Ramos shags a pretty fit bird, btw.

  8. Not really, it was a live chat. I guess he's still coping with the loss.

  10. Aye, they seem to be old... guess we are slow in Spain catching up with the news. Some blogger posted them last week.
  11. Ah Xisco, did you already talk about the gay photos that surfaced of him about a week ago?
  12. Yes. I'm also sort of amused how he talks as if Viduka and Bassong were still part of the team. Has anybody told him?
  13. I'm pretty sure the rule calls for handballs to be deliberate.
  14. Where is this interview? I wouldnt mind just throwing it through an online translator and decrypting it. Here you are, feel free to ask if something really picks up your curiosity: http://www.marca.com/charlas/jose_enrique/04112009.html I must admit that his Spanish grammar is, well, a bit poor and some of his sentences need decryption even in Spanish.
  15. In the interview, José Enrique admits that the team spirit last season was poor, and that some players were overconfident.
  16. Casillas as usual showing why I think he's the best keeper of the world. The cunt.
  17. A stone? Jesus Christ. Probably a Frente Atlético c***.
  18. I was just thinking the same. Did you happen to see what was wrong with that manager there? Looked like he was getting some treatment for something. Something hit him in the face, couldn't see what.
  19. Madrid is winning 0-3 and the game is pretty much in the bag, but that doesn't stop Sergio Ramos to show his uncanny ability to get sent off. In a less amusing note, something has struck Pellegrini in his face. That's the Vicente Calderón closed down, you idiot fan.
  20. Can you explain me what's the deal with the renaming? Is Newcastle seeing extra coin from it (it's MA's company afterall so I doubt it)? I have read that's mostly and "ad" for other companies to to get a sponsor that actually pays for it.
  21. 0-2 Marcelo. Think I'll stop reporting Madrid goals for this game, I feel dirty Pretty impressive how Atlético never, ever do the business against Real.
  22. More red meat for you lot, then: Q: "How are Newcastle fans facing relegation?" José Enrique: "Truth is they are giving us an impressive support. Home and away, there's always a great following when we play. They are with us until death".
  23. 4-2 after Messi and Keita (his, not ours) score in the dying minutes of the game. Now we segue onto the Real - Atlético derby. Atlético hasn't defeated Real Madrid in 10 years. Agüero on the bench with a knock.
