  1. No chance of that, though. And, let's be honest, he's playing against very poor teams every week. Next year in the premiership will give him a better chance since the manager will also be open to try more personnel with the next major tournament two years away. He still deserves a call up in the warm up friendlies, he's been sensational this year, give him a look, see if he can fit in on the bench and help the LB spot. He's proved he can do it in the Prem before too.
  2. He needs to go to the World Cup.
  3. i'm one of them like As am I. I wasn't even considering keeping him on if we went up for the longest time, but at this point, he's deserved a shot at it.
  4. If we'd lost 2-0 he probably wouldn't have played like he did tonight, which would probably leave him open for criticism.
  5. I've seen at least 20 people come out of the closet for Jose after that goal, including me.
  6. Seriously, possibly my proudest moment as a fan. Just amazing.
  7. Fucking Jose. I'm seriously crying. Looks like Ashley went in for the kiss there.
  8. I heard that too. It's funny also because the guy is commentating by himself and says some cringe-worthy things. It's the same for every Newcastle match on ESPN. Still, 46,000 for a Monday second divison match is astounding. This guy kills me everytime. I can't imagine it's an easy job as a one man commentating team.
  9. Wouldn't doubt he's holding Villa back right now, but he's also brought them this far.
  10. Tough to want anyone to score in this game. Guess that just means I want a draw.

Another Galaxy game where Donovan makes crisp, clean passes that his teammates cant get too.

I believe the numbers ended up being better than Holland and Argentina, of notable countries.

did exactly the same, and exactly the same sort of thing happened! We just sat and loudly over-analysed the game, much to the confusion of a group of locals sat in front who seemed to think we were taking it far too seriously. That's possibly the dumbest thing about going to American sports. There have been a few times I'd be at are local NFL stadium for college bowl or championship games, and with 5 or so minutes left we'd try to move maybe 5 rows up because everyone had left. But still, they wouldn't let us go, not sure we're hurting in that situation, but oh well. It's worse if it happens at a supporters section too, that's supposed to be for anyone.
