Chelsea locking up some FFP gunge there, think at this point in time I hate them more than Liverpool. Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool always vie for my most hated team
For me it's Spurs then Man U then Everton- Chelsea are a horrible club and I hate what they are doing to the game and the market but it gets balanced out a bit by a season like last year when they're hilarious.
Liverpool are annoying and far too self entitled. I used to like Klopp but he's such a little bitch now.
*the mackems are such a non entity now they don't even register. Their own bitterness is sweet enough.

Anyone in Berlin want to watch the game tonight?

I really don't think that Ritchie and Lascelles should be first out the door. Ok so they don't contribute much on the pitch these days but they have been through a lot with the club and carried us through some pretty dark days.
I reckon they're pretty influential in setting the tone around the place too, along with Trippier, so when we have so many incomings it's worth having these lads around to lay the ground rules - there are loads of others who probably don't contribute as much that should leave before them.
-
I really can't see there being much difference in the cost of Gordon vs. the cost of Maddison and I know which one I would rather have.
-
Also really pissed me off how he had Willock and Longstaff the wrong way around on his screen - lost credibility with that.
-
Same with Gallagher but maybe he just needs some Howe lovin'

Bit late on this one, busy week - my cousin plays for the mariners youth set up so I messaged my uncle to get the low down on the lad and whether he is any good or not, this is his review...
'Garang Kuol. Potential but a bit lazy. Tore Barcelona apart in pre season friendly in 10 minute cameo. Brother at Frankfurt. Long way to go. Lloyd has upset him the few times they have trained against each other as Lloyd had him in his pocket. No 2 Brother just trialled and offered with Brentford. Needs to prove himself over a season in A League before I would shell out.'
Make of that what you will.

Has this happened to any other club this window?
Fulham had to pull out of signing Justin Kluivert because he couldn't get a work permit

The thing I don't get is why we acquiesced. Why would we let him go for so little? He's got 3 years left on his contract plus the way that they tried to stiff us when we were supposedly after Henderson and/or Lingard we should have rightfully had their pants down like Ajax have repeatedly done.

Also is Jonjo still the best passer with Bruno around?
I'm sure it's subjective, like calling someone top shagger. (which would definitely not be one of the 'longstaffs' ironically)

I hope they succeed. Tired of the Norwich and WBA yo-yo model.
You don't need to worry about WBA any more

The risk/return seems pretty bad on this one. Probability of his value ever exceeding the quoted fees feels like <1%.
This whole thing just screams Dan James.
He'll never come good and Leeds will have lost a tonne on him

For a fraction of the price to get in a player of the quality who is proven in the PL in a poor Burnley side and Ligue 1 where we pick up a lot of talent and arguably better than our wingers except ASM it’s a great signing. Also as spoken about before he can play anywhere across the front 3 and in behind the striker as well as LWB or LB it would be top business.
Are you his agent?

Not a chance we’d be interested in Ronaldo. What he would bring to the team is the complete opposite of the mentality and attitude that Howe is trying to build.
I dunno man, he's a serial winner. Yes he's a diva and the wrong side of 30 for building a team around but what a statement of intent. The likes of Ekitike, Diaby etc. if they saw that Ronaldo was willing to come to us for 'the project' how many others would sign up? Similar to signing Zlatan, you would do it for the aura of them around the club and not necessarily for their on pitch contribution (even though last season Ronaldo still outperformed the entire manure squad)
-
In fairness to him he was neglected at Spurs by Mourinho after being one of Poch's favourites which started the decline and then got shipped off to the scouse mackems where he has fat frank as his boss. Hardly someone that is going to get the best out a player - I don't think he's a complete right off yet but he's very quickly going the way of Wilshere (who, somehow, is still only 30).

I'm getting a train over to Milan from Nice (€40 rtn) on the morning of the game. Hoping tickets will drop to members sale but if not will have to chance it in the home section. My Italian is about as good as that fella from Inglourious Basterds though!
