I think this is general consensus here. He's a likeable guy, he's just not a good enough manager for us if we want to challenge for Europe every season for at least top half. Don't agree at all. At least two Who? Felliani is top scorer. They don't have anybody else in the top 20. They have 5 players on 5 goals or more in the league including Jelavic and Felliani who have 18 between them. We've got two - Cisse and Cabaye. We did have Ba for half a season though- he had 13. But you might remember now that Cisse is our only goalscorer that when we had Ba and Cisse only 1 was a 'goalscorer'.

Couldn't give a s*** if he makes us effective and wins us games/trophies. Pardew isn't hated because of style of football he's hated because that style of football that isn't conclusive to results and can't seem to fix what is wrong. Yes Benitez teams are not exactly exciting to watch but at least he gets results and can fix fundamental flaws in a football team. Bit of both for me. Many a time I walked out of the ground last season delighted with the result and disillusioned with the performance.
