Is it being released to the public tomorrow? It is not. So what is the significance of tomorrow and the WTO?

I really am dreading what this report has in it tomorrow. I'm preparing myself for the worst based purely on I don't want to build my own Hope's up.

Wasn't it the Athletic? You're missing the point though, it might be a win against Saudi Arabia for Qatar, but it still doesn't mean the takeover will be blocked. Not if the PIF are seen as a separate entity. Also, which I posted above... This ruling looks like it might be just to say Saudi didn't do enough to stop piracy not that they were actually behind it which is explained in that twitter thread by Ben Jacobs.

I'm thinking the latter. You do get the sense that things have been stalled in line with this WTO release. I guess we’ll have to wait and see ? It still all depends on the legal status of PIF being a separate entity, if, and it looks like they are a separate entity, then it should go through. It’s worth reading the legal opinion of a barrister, not the entire report, the conclusion. Is this WTO report going to be made public? Is the best case scenario that the report says they could have done more to stop it rather than they were behind it? And even if the report does say the Saudis are behind it, will it matter anyway if PIF aren't mentioned in it?

So if they’re independent the PL can’t use the report to block the deal. Yeah, I'm sure the PL will just take their word for it. That will be in the hands of both sets of lawyers to establish that. Maybe that's what they're waiting for? If the WTO report rules against KSA and not PIF, then the PL can approve the deal and point to the WTO report which states its KSA who is responsible for piracy and not PIF who are buying NUFC (initials all over there).

Got me canny baffled this WTO report. So it means nothing but both sides can appeal which again makes it mean nothing, but the PL are waiting for it to be published so they can approve/reject the deal. Sense all over right there.

I listened to half an hour of it and seemed alright. General gist of it was Caulkins still confident, bulk of the checks have been done, only thing thats stopping it is the privacy and he suspects they'll be negotiating with PIF to make sure its watertight before they come to a conclusion. Sounds positive. I'll give it listen later on. I'd say he definitely didn't sound concerned put it that way. He's a pretty calm bloke to be honest. Hopefully his confidence isn't misplaced.

They seem to be calling loads of other teams in league 1 "tin pot" (they seem to hate Wycombe for some reason, another league 1 team they've fallen out with), they really think they're something special. Everyone has started to see these horrible deluded cunts for what they are.

Luke's had a shocker during this. Clearly has very few contacts and just prayed that predicting a shit storm would come up good. He's obviously desperate for the takeover to fall through. When documents went public on companies house didn't he try and play them down and then said he didn't understand them? The guy has made a complete arse of himself ever since Bruce arrived here.
