We are great at doing down our own players, he was a critical player for a team that finished 4th and 7th over the past two seasons. Yes he hasn’t played much since the turn of the year, but that is due to their being a better option in Tonali, rather than Longstaff being utterly bobbins. He's a better player than many on here give him credit for, just much like Willock he no longer fits into the way we play and the club has outgrown him.
