Guidetti man. What a player. 2 goals in a couple of minutes just now. De Jong has barely been involved in this first half.
-
Luuk de Jong is playing now, if anyone wants to have a look.

Raylor, yes. We had, but that's not to say there can't be a player amongst that defense who's not good. The biggest reasons for our good defensive record was the centre backs and Krul. Apart from some great blocks, i'm not sure what he did (defensively) that pretty much anyone else couldn't have. It was justifiable to play Raylor for a while, as he had a period where he had matches without significant/goal leading mistakes, and played decent, but he also went on to have some poor displays, and some absolutely terrible ones. It has been time to play Santon for a good while. Ben Arfa is a better player than Obertan. It really is that simple. He will be way more effective than Obertan. If just going off Obertan not being at all. Not saying he will take the Premier League with storm, but he will contribute more than Obertan. "The manager always knows best". Not so sure that's always right tbh. Point being proved in that Obertan is always starting despite playing badly. It's not like Ben Arfa haven't played out wide before either. It is easy to point out mistakes. He keeps making the same ones, and people are very aware of them. Why do you have to check the table? Is it not fair to point out mistakes, even if we're sitting nicely in the table?

Obertan, Raylor/Santon, refusal to use Ben Arfa on the right, (lack of) use of subs. A few pretty significant, ongoing mistakes. He had a great start, but of late his faults are really showing.

Samba. £7m. My first thinking is he'll have better options. If not, top stuff. My second thinking is - if we get him, no way we'll pay for a good/top striker.
-
Not at all. People were banging on more about Pardew and his weird decisions. Lack of changes etc. Calling Obertan s*** is just the norm, as he is exactly that. Wasn't crap yesterday, but he was doing his normal running around like a headless chicken for bigger parts, and not doing too much constructive with the ball.
-
His lack of pace I think...and it's very very important for a winger. He could be used as a winger but more like a wide midfielder and not a typical winger who goes past his marker and put a cross in
-
So much better than Raylor it's unbelievable. Same will be the case when Ben Arfa comes in for Obertan. Eh - would be.
-
Really manages to p*ss me off. For all the good he's done this season, he's made a lot of baffling decisions. I'm at the point where I'm struggling to contain myself slagging him off at times.
-
Good start Pardew, but are flaws starting to show? Too early? Anyway, some of his decisions really are baffling and slightly pisses me off.
-
Shola. Just fuck off.
-
4 minutes for fucks sake!?
-
One of their best players coming in.
-
Ameobi is fucking shite at heading.
-
Obertan At least he used his speed like he should.

Would be perfect if he switched Obertan and Ben Arfa, but I'll definitely take that. -
Because sources always comes with names? Made up ones tend not to, your argument is there are direct quotes. The quotes are from 'Someone close to Chelsea', that could be Lee Ryder's mate who is currently walking up Fulham Road. A source close to Chelsea said: “Tiote is a player everybody at Chelsea admires. “There are a number of options and possibilities on offer, but we will have to see what the mood is when the window opens.” Seems like direct quotes from someone within the club to me. Not sure if serious.... taxfree, you know that the media can generally just put any choice of words together and then stick quotation marks round them, whether a 'source inside the club' has said a single bit of it, or not? I know. I may just be a bit naive thinking a local journalist wouldn't be daft enough to jump at the chance to unsettle his local club and players without there being anything in it.

Hardly baseless? For once an article which has quotes that show Chelsea in fact are interested.
-
Meh. From experience leaning more towards this.

Wouldn't sell.
