He's a fantastic signing. We now have a winger that consistently throughout a season scores goals !

Unfortunately that game was about as often as ASM getting destroyed by lamptey and being subbed before half time.

That goal compilation, he's going to get fucking loads of similar chances for us with how we play.

Barnes has excellent end product. ASM and Gordon don't. Easy upgrade.

Has a finish on him edge of the box....somewhere where we can struggle and end up passing it around the box before running out of ideas.

Only 2 players that season(21 22) had more assists than him....but aye, nothing to get excited about.

Unfortunately that's probably twice a season.

Doubt it. He offers far more than what ASM did last season and his defensive work alone is massive for us.

10 assists in 21/22, that's like 2 years of ASM's assists.

Loved his flair when hes on it, but it happens too rarely and he misses far too many games, as well as 2 assists only in 2023. Barnes offers us a different but far more consistent threat. Barnes assists weren't too bad either when Leicester had good strikers in form instead of a washed vardy they had last season.

ASM's unpredictability didn't exactly help us much last season mind.

Showed the difference already being match fit makes, looked a class above due to it.

Lad's going to score 5+ in the Champions League alone!

Just no idea who the hell we could persuade to buy him from us. There is no redeeming quality of him.

Dubravka being #2 and happy to stay will be fantastic for us.

£30m seems close to right for ASM, hopefully we can persuade to get a few million more. Yeah, he's entertaining but that doesn't make up for his injury problems, lack of end product, he's not a key player for us and we are looking to sell him.
