  1. £75 million on Andy Carroll, Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing.

    Unbelievable.

That is scary like, adding in Adam doesn't help either.

Although I would have expected more people to back Liverpool's policy, based on the fact we're judging our own transfers on how much money we've spent.

I honestly don't think our midfield is too far behind there's.

    :dowie:

  2. Surely if it was as easy as that, Villa would just have bought Zog when they sold Young?

Apparently the Young money was to pay for Bent.

Don't let anybody hear you say that transfer income can go to support past expenditure, there'll be a riot.

Especially when we buy Zog for 12 million and then go on to sell Tiote for 15 million and claim we had to sell to cover the costs of the previous buy.

  3. The lad got in a massive fight last week with my brother's mate and all his hommies jumped in and kicked lumps out of them.

Was in fact Ian Boogie's son who ended up in hospital and he went to the police who in turn took Lua Lua in for questioning.

Last i heard from it all that they were still quizzing people from what happened.

  4. Ramires is s*** and Mikel is worse than s***, Chelsea would be mad not to get someone in.

Ramires came on leaps and bounds towards the end of the season.

Ramires did show glimpses of quality at times, correct in towards the end of the season his overall game was getting better, but for such a reputation and price tag he was fucking let down to be fair.

  5. "The signings we've made thus far have us in great shape and we're excited about starting the new season. We're still in the market for another player or two but we won't be signing players for the sake of it, they'll have to be the right ones for our vision for the club."

    Good old Pards!

    September...

'The player's we were after never materialized for whatever reason and i wasn't prepared to sign players just to get bodys in for the sake of it. This is a special club, with special fans and if you don't match the criteria of a club as big as Newcastle United then your not fit to wear the shirt. We have a great bunch of lads here and i am confident we can have a good season and push on to achieve our targets and we will have a look in January at our position and we shall go on from there'

EDIT: I promise to every fan that the 15 million from Tiote will go back into the club and i will make sure personally that i bring quality players in January....Mike has promised me this.

  6. 6 month loan until Essien recovers with Sturridge coming our way and a 10 million loan fee.

Tiote gives them a 20 point lead by January, Sturridge is top scorer with Toon lying in 4th, Ashley pockets 10 million to decorate...everyone's a winner

  7. Ferguson will be cited.

Possibly, I guess we also have some dodgy cover for RB as well in the form of the Taylor twins, but I wouldn't want to be seeing them play there much.

Don't worry, the defence isn't going to have much to do next year, the midfield aren't going to let the opposition see any of the ball and most of the goals we conceded last year were Nolan's fault. ;)

Enrique = a c*** who is being disrespectful to the fans and only interested in money by sticking to the terms of his contract signed 5 years ago even through a relegation and not signing a "highly lucrative" new contract.

Ben Arfa, Ba, Cabaye, Marveaux = good lads with well researched solid characters, just looking for a bigger footballing challenge (in some cases a bigger challenge than being Champions of their native league and playing in the CL).

Massive double standards lads. You play by the sword, you die by the sword. As ye sow, so shall ye reap. etc

  8. hopefully this will amount to nothing :(

can see why they'd want him, cos he's mint and that

I hope it amounts to Sturridge, Vanny and 50 million (i recently said 25 million but now they have actually enquired, amount in cash is doubled)  :smug:

  9. We sell him hem I am don with this club, will devastate my nephew if I cancel our season tickets but they can fk off if Tiote is sold.

You build a team around players like him, selling him serves no purpose.

What if he wants to go? Which he probably will IMO.

He should have thought about that before he signing a 6 year deal  :shifty:

  10. The whole 'being left out against Darlington' for 'fitness reasons' is really worrying.

    The guy hasn't been injured.  He's a beast, fitness-wise.

God, I'll be so angry if we sell Tiote.

They've said they are easing him back in a bit slower because he missed the final two games with the suspension threat.

No Colo either, not playing vs Darlo means nothing.

Colo leaving aswelll...double swoop from chelski....  :frantic:  :frantic:  :frantic:  :frantic:  :frantic:

  11. I hope I'm wrong and he plays well if he stays but at what point do we refuse to sell him ?

Its fine saying he has every right to run down his contract and he will play well but say Barca make an offer on deadline and by some miracle we refuse it. We then have a p*ssed off Jose who will be desperate for the January window to come so he can leave. Its a crazy situation that only suits him not the club.

Oh aye, all the power is in his hands basically, that's what happens when a quality player reaches this point in their contract. TBF to him he has worked hard, played well, and earned himself this position.

  12. As much as I love Jose & really want him to stay, this/he is starting to f*** me right off.. sign for the fkn deal or hand in a transfer request!

Why does he need to hand in a transfer request?

The club know the situation that he wants to play for a champions league club and if an offer comes in with an acceptable value he will be off.

If the offer doesn't arrive the player is entitled to run down his contract next year (which seems unlikely) or accept the contract on the table.

No need for either party to start throwing down demands when they both know the score and are just waiting for the outcome.
