  1. Champs League, or any other league for that matter, won't hit those figures. Surely that's an imbalanced comparison though? seeing as there is 38 games a season compared to the 15 games of the CL. Context, Mole. How many games do you think Celtic/Rangers will have? 8's prob the norm, 2 if they can't clear the qualifiers. Even in the wider sense and without the help of numbers, I doubt the average CL match will match the average PL match in global viewership.

  4. Makes sense in that Rangers have almost 100% better chance of getting CL consistently that Newcasyle would. The money gained thru CL tv rights and the exposure for SD means it makes absolute sense The big bucks in the CL are in the later stages. Celtic and Rangers are unlikely to even clear the 1st group stage. Exposure-wise, nothing beats the PL in showcasing his brand to a worldwide audience. 38 PL matches vs the SPL plus 6 CL matches, the answer is obvious.

  6. Confederations Cup - Mexico v Italy. Mexico's original shorts were white. http://www.fifa.com/mm/photo/tournament/competition/02/11/07/34/2110734_large.jpg Another example of predominantly dark vs predominantly light kit I guess. Colombia's yellow/white will be light yet Mexico's green/white still runs foul if the rule is interpreted as such. And Spain in traditional red/blue will clearly show up as a dark kit in monochrome.
  7. http://www.footballkitnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Messi-Argentina-World-Cup-Shirt-2014.jpg Same font. Probs standardised adidas font type.
  8. I looked through the relevant FIFA WC 2014 regulations the other day and found nothing suggesting same-colour shorts/socks. Well, according to my interpretations. Still don't see why they can't have their traditional shorts colour and switch over to their alternate shorts if it clashes with the opposition's e.g. Portugal v North Korea above.
  9. Nah that's Zabaleta. Look to the left of Zabaleta.
  10. New ruling that European champions must only wear red.

'Mosquito, Atletico Paranaense, 17' Plenty of buzz around that lad. Has a shot that stings the net.
  13. When Portugal played DPR Korea last WC, they had to change their shorts and socks to avoid a clash. http://www.truecoloursfootballkits.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/portugal-h-123x150.gif . http://www.truecoloursfootballkits.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/dpre-korea-a-123x150.gif http://www1.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Cristiano+Ronaldo+Jong+Tae+Se+Portugal+v+North+ddMoig0G3BOl.jpg
  14. Couldn't find anything on the one colour decision but apparently everyone is blaming FIFA for that. http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/suzanne410/39848724/79891/79891_original.jpg Font Germany will be using. Unsure if it will be a standardised font for all teams.
  15. Intredasting. Nee wonder Mexico gets a customised kit.
  16. They always get nice, unique kits since adidas is a German company.
  17. Back to their usual theatrics.
  18. If your luck is in, it can work an absolute treat. Reminds me of Gullit wanting white shorts/socks as they are 'lucky'.
