There's an article in the Telegraph about Snoop Dogg wearing a QPR Top. Anyway, in a nutshell it sarcasticlly refers to Bolton and 5under1and as being glamorous places. It made me smile knowing the whole Country thinks as them as vile pigs too.
-
Not as nice as Simpson!
-
Aye went with me Dad, says Tony Green was behind only Pedro and Gazza as the best players he's seen play for us.
-
Was there last night. Overall the talk-in was good, highlight was obviously Nolan/Barton, but plenty of other midfielders there for a good bit of banter...some old faces and a bit of insight into our history.
Pretty much what Chicken wrote in the summary sums it up, nothing really more said.
A few knackers at the front where shouting and balling a few times which got on my threpneys though, but overall it was for a good cause too.
I couldn't work out what they were saying, was it 'sign on the dotted line Joey?'
-
People forget about Jak Alnwick, who I think will probably be better than both Krul and Forster. If you watch him he far surpasses the expectations of a 17 year old Goalkeeper IMO.

Thanks chicken top stuff
Anything on pardew?
Cheers mate.Didn't say much about Pardew, just that they hope investment happens with 4 or 5 coming in but they'd have to be right to fit in to the bunch of lads.
-
Would love Defoe here.
Always thought he would end up here for some reason. Would work well in a 4-4-2, but I imagine Pardew fancies going 4-4-1-1 next year with Ben Arfa behind a striker.
-
Didn't say out really to report, the pair of them.
Barton:
Loves playing here, will probably live here for life.
Will sign if Nolan does, real spirit in the camp and Nolan responsible.
Turned to Smith in Leyton Orient game and said this is the best thing that's happened to us.
Laughed when reading players (mentioned no names, hinted at Duff, Martins, Beye) saying they loved the club and fans and they were the 'first cunts to fuck off'.
With investment this club can go far, came here to win things, still his ambition.
Had a laugh about the fight in city centre as well.
Days like Plymouth and 5-1 will live with him forever.
Club needs to stop doing stupid stuff like 'selling your best striker and not replacing him' and 'signing players like Ben Arfa which is great, but forgetting about the likes of Nolan who deserve new deals'
Nolan:
Admitted he's not the most giften footballer in the world, but will work his bollocks off for the club.
Would move up here after career if it wasn't for his family.
Spoke alot about the spirit, thanked Hughton, Calderwood and PB.
Makes it clear to young lads/new players if they don't like it, to piss off.

Was working it out about 3 weeks ago at work and a treble on Man U to win the league, Berbatov to be top scorer (looks dodgey now like) and Birmingham to go down worked out at roughly 16/1, which I thought was class. Bottled putting it on like but if it happens I'll be sick.
-
. Nolan was trying to not swear at first, kept saying 'fricken' then Joey came on and his first few sentences ended in 'cunts fucked off'. Nolan just went for it after that

Just been reading some of the posts on the early pages of this thread and it's really got to me
And me. Really miss the Bobby years, my fondest memories given I'm only 24. A true great, symbolic of everything the game should be, but today isn't. Seemed he died when the club was at it's lowest, but I guarentee he would be proud of the current crop.
Miss you, sir, bet your'e managing the greats in the sky now.

Pair of them spoke about investment but nowt to report. Spoke alot about the spirit, how they've really bought into the club. All positive stuff, sly dig from Barton about the owners and also January, but was really good to hear from them.
-
Just got back from that talk in. Barton was class, told it like it was:
Will sign if Nolan does, would be asking to be captain at any other Premier league team except us, Nolan is proper leader.
Said it was funny players who said they wanted to stay were the first 'cunts to fuck off'.
Love him.

I bet this big greasy b****** is back within 4 years. Can see him failing there.
This, but probably around 5 or 6 years after leaving Liverpool to go to Blackburn or some s*** like that
And we'll get a nice 25% of whatever team he goes to next pays for him. Win-Win

I bet this big greasy bastard is back within 4 years. Can see him failing there.

Surely the Spanish are aware of Jose now? He had a fantastic season last year (although at a lower standard) and has carried it on in probably the best league in the world, ultimately becoming one of the stand out left backs in the division. If he isn't selected soon I doubt he ever will tbh, regardless who he plays for.
-
3-3
Be a high scoring draw, or a defeat. Just hope people stay to acknowledge the players for what has been a memorable season.
-
Horrible bastards Swansea fans, remember seeing them on that Sky1 programme 'Football's Hardest Away days'. The mackems were on it too.
-
Interesting now, finish that like.
-
To be honest, I'm glad we sold him when we did. If we had held on till the summer we wouldnt have got near £35million, and in hindsight his injury was a lot worse than everyone thought, so we wouldn't have had him available much regardless.
-
Good to see Forest failing.
This. Their fans were complete bellends last season, arrogant as fuck.

McGugan worth a punt if Forest don't come up. Although the last player we bought from Forest ...
Just about to post this, good player.

Doubt Short will give them much tbh. Reason why Quinn's shitting his pants about the attendances, Short must be looking thinking 'I've done my bit and I'm losing a lot of money'. Can't see us getting much money either mind.

Aye and he's on about £60k a week at Chelsea, which we wouldn't pay.
