Yeah big time. England's biggest mistake in recent years, imo.

I know we like to slam Gerrard for being a hollywood cunt, but he's already sprayed two wonderful long passes. The bellend.

The collapse that day was unforgivable, really. That was the moment where it hit home for me, thought we've been doomed ever since. -
I think personally the passion has faded somewhat. Last year brought me back quite a bit, because we had a good, likeable squad that was getting some fantastic results. This somewhat masked and almost distracted me from the things going on with the club, for example sports direct being slapped everywhere on the ground However this season, I started off really passionate and losing would literally have me feeling moody for about 2-3 days afterwards , as the season has dragged on however, I've become more apathetic and disinterested. I use the phrase "dragged on" because it feels exactly like that. No enjoyment, just a mandatory task that must be completed. It's a very sad state of affairs and I do believe the passion has gone from the club, yes.

Think there's room for him even with a good manager. Just because Rodgers says you can't build a fashionable team with him in doesn't make it true. Looked pacey today as well. Fuck being fashionable anyway. A team that's tough to break down and scores goals would do just fine. Then you can start to gradually phase better players in. See I thought this was the exact track we were on. When we came up, we scored goals but were still quite tough to break down. Last season we were even more resiliant, yet still scoring. However this season we really have gone backwards, we can't score and we can't defend, despite phasing in better (on paper anyway) players.

He brings a calmness and an assured presence at the back which you can see easily dissipated throughout the back four. It's that quality which make him a good leader, imo.

Talk of selling him is rubbish imo. If we got a new manager in the summer, I guarantee Cabaye's performances next season would be better. Yes he should be more professional on the pitch, despite clearly having no faith in the manager, (see Colo), but can we really blame him when he was sold a cock and bull story to come here?

There was one moment today when he lost the ball and just instantly gave up. Thought that was horrendous, he's not been himself lately at all.
-
Great to see him back, sad at the same time though because I can't see him staying.
-
How the hell is this man so undroppable? He's completely shot as a player, those saying he's "okay" in the middle of the park have hopefully been proven wrong today. He frequently gave the ball away cheaply and offered literally nothing going forward. Garbage. Lovely man though

As usual, the only thing worth watching from us today. Such a class player, hope we can survive this season, keep him and really kick on next year.
