I take it this is the post people are talking about...

I know nearly everyone knows this, but this thread is a compendium thread for discussing all things NUFC and the related sportswashing activities that are now a key part of its existence. Anyone who mistakes it for a forum to actively PROMOTE sportwashing in any way shape or form will not be permitted to continue, and this includes reference to unrelated and lesser examples in an attempt to deflect (whataboutery). Fair warning has been given. Deletions/other actions have already been taken today.

Based on that, the most appropriate action would be to just ban any discussion of NUFC altogether, but that would result in the poor fuckers having absolutely nothing to talk about.

  2. They now appear to be arguing amongst themselves, even some of the six-toed fuckwits now think the mods are going too far.

Also trying to spin that Man City's owners are ok, because they're just a bit dodgy.  The legacy of the great League Cup Final Love-in of 2014 has been protected, Blew Mewn in Peyce will be delighted.

  3. Isn't this the same guy who in the early days said there was no chance of our takeover happening at all?

For a Professor of Economics, it's quite astounding that he misses the fact that this isn't just about owning a football club, there will be a whole investment strategy being built around it.

  4. Finally, people may start to realise what a monumental thundercunt this bloke is - all that happened at NUFC, the stunt he pulled with Rangers' branding, but this latest one is a belter, even by his loathsome standards.  If it is a plan to get CCFC on the cheap, then he clearly doesn't give a flying fuck about what damage is caused in the meantime.  You have to wonder whether he'd even pass the fit and proper owners test, although given the EFL's track record on that he'd probably sail through.

They have a poll about whether the game should be taking place but it's posted on a hidden forum that only members can access.

Anyone with an account fancy checking in on how it's going?

We all know the main issue here. Encroachment onto Leazes Terrace and the problem of the building getting sufficient natural light. This could be overcome by cantilevering the upper tier of the East Stand and with a far steeper rake than the current design. A glass designed roof that lets light through as with the current Milburn/Leazes Stands would need to be added.

The ghost of Dolly Potter is about to dig out her textbooks on light refraction and dust off her clipboard.

Panja lost all credibility after his "we only had a one hour slot so I didn't have the opportunity to raise the issue of human rights" when recently interviewing someone linked to PSG (can't remember who it was).  Didn't have that problem during one of our press conferences, did he!?!

  8. Went to school with him.  Interestingly, all the way through middle school all of the fuss made was about Alan Thompson who was in the same year, and not an awful lot was said about Steve.   I'm assuming that's just because the scouts picked him up later, but he did seem to go under the radar until just before high school.  Then the next thing I saw was him playing for NUFC in a cup game which I think was against Boro.  It was a proper WTF?! moment, then they did a bit about him on Saint & Greavsie the following weekend which was double WTF?!
