She made a right pigs ear of pouring that bottle of dog. The final shot of the bottle and glass must've been taken ten minutes later.

Hadn't really thought about this, but just saw it mentioned on Twitter....but there's little difference between tonight's result or a 0-1 loss. I think had it been the latter then the mood would be much more positive. That away goal really could be the difference.

Not ideal, but we're still in this tie make no mistake. That's the most difficult bit over with. Once the dust settles on this I'm sure the general feeling will be that we still have a decent chance.....as long as they don't score early on.

The miners thing is really big considering where the stadium is built an why it carries its name, nevermind the history of the people, but rtg just aren't arsed about any of it, a tradition they've played up for years thrown away for this man. Unbelievable.
Indeed, didn't Bob Murray say the SoL was named as such because of the links to mining and the miner's lamp ?
Getting very messy down there.
Local History, it's all they've got. Start taking that away from them then what do they end up as? Laughable so many fans have brushed it all aside for someone with no connections to them and a hugely dodgy past. Least he's not a mag though, that's worse (they are actually saying this btw)
This. Rivalry aside, I've been astounded by the scant disregard for values, history and heritage. In particular, some of the stuff I've seen posted about the issue with the mining banner is particularly awful and distasteful. "Wipe my arse on it and give it back" and "burn it", even "this city was built on shipbuilding, not mining". All this in support of a guy who, at that point, hadn't even taken a training session. It's astounding, and incredibly sad. Talk about selling out. Either that, or it demonstrates that they have no knoweldge of their local history, in which case, replace selling out with thick as mince.

Walked out of his press conference according to this:

Kicks off big style in nationals with direct questions:"Are you a fascist, yes or no" Press conf. Press conf cut short. Hell on as they say.

Fair to say, Paolo might struggle to get a positive spin in the nationals. Club could get a kicking too. Interesting times.

Headline item in ITV national news, bloody hell!

Didn't take long, bit of Marty/Villa fan déjà vu going on here:

I guess 'Poznan with Paolo' would be quite ironic

Mag in a sauna.
That's a new one to me, can't believe I missed it

Mag on a horse is still my fave mind

Thing is he didn't look like a player who wants out the way he played yesterday.
What does a player who wants out look like?

ffs
More like he wants to come out

and in other news, Lee Ryder currently thrapping himself because his game of 'Twitter sourced news Russian Roulette' has got him some sort of 'scoop'.....

BBC Sport running with this now - not good news

What the f*** is this mentality of being glad we are out of a cup competition, fans being pleased to lose a game.
Staying up is more important and we don't have the squad to be playing EL, league and FA Cup come February and March.
I hate to say it but if it means staying up then i don't really care tbh.
This, sadly. A couple of free weekends might do us some good, particularly with the Europa about to start up again soon.

I feel so sorry for all those who travelled down. Abysmal!

I can't remember the last time I felt this sick after a match. Now drinking Leffe in the Five Swans in the hope it will numb the pain.
For the first time this season I'm seriously worried

From Pardew's comments in the Ronnie, it looks like Ba will probably play. I just hope for the sake of the club that people lay off him. The need for three points is far greater than any need to voice displeasure towards someone who is still a NUFC player, and might well be for the rest of the season. Save it for if and when he comes back with an opposing team, because it certainly wouldn't do us any favours tonight.

Good grief...no mind games here, this is nothing more than a childish, angry tirade.
Far too easy for Pardew to assume the high ground here. Just needs to keep his cool, with a tiny little dig if the opportunity arises

I thought when he was on BBC's World Cup coverage a few years back he sounded absolutely batshit crazy
Totally thought this at the time. Wondered what the micey little gonad was doing there and how they could stand him gibbering on like that. Seem to remember the others just looking at him and then turning away and saying "Right. Anyway..." Felt a bit embarrassed for him tbh, being so out of touch. Still, guess he got the £££s.

4 coaches of Bruges fans just dropped off on barrack road. About a dozen cops in attendance and police dogs there aswell for touch of overkill.
A lass from work said before they're all having a good singalong outside the Garter with one policeman hovering nervously nearby.
Yep, loads of them outside the Black Garter having a good sing song. All seems quite good natured, but there are about 5-6 coppers there now keeping them in check. Looking at the state of some of them 20 or so minutes ago there'll probably be one or two who don't make the match.

It won't be a premier league club that will take him anyway. He will end up in turkey, china, russia or the UAE, where the money is for players of his calibre.
Even Liverpool wouldn't pay him 80k a week, with that knee.
Most likely this. He's a very good player, but those wage demands are crazy.

RE the Bordeaux home game:

I thought adult tickets were £15? £10 in normal areas is a great price imo.
Not coming up as that on mine.
Think I might sit toward the singing corner for this one. Vary it up.
Might still have me down as a student, although I am paying for an adult season ticket. Who know's.
I had a similar issue when I bought a pair of tickets for this match. The one bought on my supporter number came to £15, and the other ticket bought against a different supporter number came to £20. The seats are next to each other in the Platinum Club and the season tickets that they were bought against are both adult category. Only difference I can think of is that I've had my season ticket for longer, but not sure why that would make any difference.
