face it lads we're playing fucking sh1t here ... backline far too high, we seem to forgotten how to pass the ball short, everytime we get the ball in midfield we play it long and direct, what the hell happened to pass and move, there's no cohesion in the team, when ever one of our playes have the ball no one else from our own team is anywhere near him, shocking marking for the second, perch and colo both sh1t marking, but it was perch's man, simpson doesn;t know any other pass other than than the long one, try fucking passing it short for once you stupid twat. tiote, how many times has he lost the ball we dont even derserve a draw if we keep on playing this way.

L'Equipe: Modibo Maiga fails medical; transfer 'abandoned'

If you are thinking long term then that tournament shouldn't really be much of a consideration. yes but the short term is with two of your first team strikers gone for more than a month, thats not going to bode well for the rest of the current season, and what happens this season will affect the next season. in a way abandoning this signing is an actual long term view imo. -
They'd be f***ed without NUFC tbh. Pretty much. From my understanding, newspaper sales are probably declining really (most likely due to the free availability of the Journal/Chronicle/Sunday Sun online). So NCJ need all the stories they can get from the club so that they can still advertise "exclusives" for the afternoon sale of the Chronicle. I imagine quite a lot of people, after seeing these adverts, buy the Chronicle from the stands outside Eldon Square/Monument etc after finishing work. They simply can't afford being banned from St. James' Park. sure publishing controversial views against the club will always risk the job or future access afforded to the publisher and the writer. but that doesn't give the articles or stories being published anymore credit or truth does it?

You didn't see his contribution last game, he is an outlet, quite possibly our only outlet if we need to be direct with the ball. That's just one part of his game. He works hard, fantastic first touch, can hold the ball, can direct ball in the air, he completely changes the complexion of our play when he's on the field. Numerous times we have seen how our game changes for the worse once he leaves the field. my only complaint bout him, is that sometimes we can be too direct with Best playing upfront, as we can rely on him too much and play too many long balls. he does get caught offside too often. but he does give us a variety that neither shola or demba can.

as long he plays well and the team scores, it really wouldn't bother me much if he dont score.

L'Equipe: Modibo Maiga fails medical; transfer 'abandoned'

i think maybe the club had a sudden brainstorm and figured, having two of your strikers away for month in the African cup of nation, maybe a bad idea. im actually glad we not signing another african cup of nation player tbh. -
'Exclusives', in the form of 'access' to playing and coaching staff. As s**** as most of it is (most player 'interviews' also come from Comms team), it sells. People will always want to read this kind of stuff, what the players and managers are thinking after/in the run up to games. It's as good as a monopoly for NCJ in the region. Journal, Chronicle, Sunday Sun all NCJ... The papers can't print quotes without club sign off - so cut out the middle man (i.e. the player). Remember when Santon signed and said "I never saw a Mackem in Milan!" Christ, it's all so contrived - how don't people see through it? Very little of what NCJ reports is 'journalism', however you define journalism these days... and most of the information that they report (print would be more fitting) on a daily basis, if not all is spoon-fed to them by the in-house PR team at the club. The 'direct line' between Oliver and Shepherd (that Ryder told me personally about) now exists between the communications (PR) team at the club and Douglas/Ryder. Ryder's own views are limited to his blog and webchats. NCJ cannot afford to bite the hand that feeds - and instead works as a sounding board for the club's agenda. As you may have already guessed, every press statement (including Llambias') from the club is written by Wendy Taylor and co. approved at boardroom level, and distributed to the press. I've been advised by a national tabloid sports journalist that they couldn't report such a story without some form of recording. Hardly the scandal of the century now, is it? Every sports desk at a local rag is utterly beholden to the Premier League club(s) that they report on. Only reason I'm talking about the maligned local press is because they would never report a 'scandal' in a full-blooded manner. What I find scandalous is the club having a targeted ROI on players. so what? what scandalous about that? at least there's a formula to the club's structure, it's just sad that you actually believe every player will be sold due to a 300% profit, if that really is the case there will no team left, this targeted ROI ain't going work very well once you're in the championship peddling around with C class players. Use your head Colocho.

Boardroom level. ok, who? Wouldn't want to say anything else. Fairly sure that staff at the club and journalists/researchers within the regional press visit these boards. Have you got a direct line to Derek? The target is to make a 300% profit within 36 months of the player signing for the club. £20m presents a 478% profit - they may wish to maximise that figure by waiting until the summer. Tough one to call - but the 300% 'rule' is in place. Are you serious? Yes. Which is why I am critical about us becoming a 'development (not selling) club'. stop embarrassing yourself lol yeh because they know who colocho is, Derek: oh look i found a mole, he's on 'newcastleonline' forum, his name is colocho! Ashley: who is colocho? Derek, err dunno.... let's just sell tiote now mike! come on ..300% !!!

Have you got a direct line to Derek? yes he has, basically we wont have a squad left come february. Ba will go to arsenal for 3 pence and packet of crisp as that is 300% profit.

then he's gone then.

Doubt they'll want as much for him me, nor would they get it. Strikers cost more, English costs more. £20m-25m will do it imo. i doubt it, tiote is proven in the prem, carroll only had half a season and we still manage to get £35 mill plus he put in a transfer request lets not forget that, we are definately looking at numbers north of £30m for tiote. £35 mill atleast.

its obvious man utd are interested in tiote, and so are many other clubs, these journos are just telling us what we already know, the only question is how much are these clubs willing to pay and what price ashley is willing to accept. i look at man utd and they got enough midfelders, chelsea also have enough midfielders in that role, but that wont stop either of those clubs from being interested ofcourse if the price is right. arsenal i cant see wenger willing to pay over the odds for tiote, it is january and you pay a premium especially in the prem. man city, i cant see them signing tiote they also have enough cover there. that leaves us with liverpool, with lucas injured they really need a tiote , as Spearing is just a rookie. are they willing to pay over the odds again like last time on Carroll lol? it all remains to be seen. i think we will definately recieve an initial cheeky bid from the bin dippers thats for sure, lets see how far they will go this time.

With all due respect to Swansea, Pardew sounds like he's talking about some big hitting side. I would even understand if he'd been saying this after a game away at their place. It's still Swansea City ffs, and our aim should be to win at home no matter what. What about the 2nd half Mr. Pardew? i doubt he would have said those things in the dressing room after the game, no doubt shola and one or two would have got a dressing down after the game. id rather him saying nice things about swansea then slagging his own team off in public.
-
Absolutely incorrect there. At Liverpool and Arsenal we played more possessive and attacking football. The reason we were defensive this game was simply we were pushed back and had to be. You forced us further back and pressed us up high whenever we had the ball, this forced us into more passing mistakes than the usual games we play. The best substitution for Swansea was when Best went off. I thought Augstien for Gower was an excellent change. i thought that little umpa lumpa that played infront of thier defence was quite classy, brittain i think he was called.

shola is the most classic english battering ram , just like perch is the quintessential commanding centre half. ( yes i know you were being sarcastic.) i dont know what shola is, sometimes he has moments of brilliance. then other times (most of the time) he is just a turd. I can tolerate Shola more than most at times but i just didn't get the decision today. We didn't need to lump it forward we just needed a key to unlock their defence and bringing Ben Arfa on and linking play with Cabaye and Ba would have given us something new. I just simply don't understand why he has been completely left out since Chelsea. He didnt even have a terrible game against Chelsea it was just there was no space in that game and chelsea are incredibly strong in the center of midfield so nulified his threat. Something must have kicked off between them it's the only reason i can think he has been frozen out of late. either something kicked off or not i dont know but he did play very badly vs chelsea, he didnt have space because he didnt move. and when he did have the ball he just hogged it until he lost it, everything he did (or didnt) was just wrong, whatever it was he must have pissed the manager off pretty badly to get subbed at half time. you saw how he over reacted when rooney kicked out at colo at old trafford when everybody was cool becuase it wasnt really that bad. can you imagine how he controls himself in the changing room, when pardew gave him a dressing down after half time after that shower of shyte he displayed in the first half.

What? Just some of the bollocks spouted on here sometimes, it's as if the whole board is made up of a who's who of out of work Jose Mourinhios Hmm, a manager's selection and substitution decisions will always be scrutinised and debated - whether at the match, in the pub or on a message board. Pardew's turned my opinion on him around massively but has made some very wacky calls in the last few weeks and it needs sorted. yeh but we aint eaxctly man utd or chelsea or man city, we cant expect to have a jose mourinho at our club, we cant afford him, pards is all we got. think some of us expect too much of him. I don't think expecting him to bring on arguably the most talented attack-minded player at the club when we're struggling to score a goal is expecting too much. Is he mentally deficient or something, is that what you're saying? That he's a good all round manager but will occasionally not spot something that every other f***er can or else he'd be at Real Madrid? yeh this is all well and good, things arent always that simple, we dont know whats going on in the background, maybe beni boy has been a twat, maybe pards aint forgiven him for that shower of shyte he displayed against chelsea, i mean he wasnt just crap that day he was a liability. who knows.
