don't remember the 3-4 months of free flowing attacking force.

Anybody? Go on then. For a start, I don't rate him highly or even have that much faith in him. That's even more the case after today. However, my position all along has been that he deserves next season based on last year alone. I saw enough during that season that I could be happy with as a supporter going forward. If things haven't improved after the start of next season, he should be replaced. I don't have very much faith that he'd be adequately replaced mind. As you say, he's obviously a good man manager and the players like him. I crave some form of stability here and, if he can reach the heights of last season again, I don't have any real personal dislike of him to prevent me wanting him as our manager. Mate, we only have a certain window of time with these players and a fairly good quality squad. If we allow him to f*** up next season as well I can guarantee the better ones will be getting itchy feet. you think they dont have itchy feet now?

Success at Reading. Thinks he was one of the first in England to play 4-5-1. some probably believes him when he said that lol, f***ing s*** salesman.

Pardew is supposedly famously known for his 'Ego' amongst the football fraternity. I wonder what he did that made him develop this complex?
-
yeh i thought people would have figure out now its not about formations and who plays where, pardew has tried pretty much everything, with the same out come, turgid football.
-
And has Everton playing far more like a Stoke than a Swansea. Not what I saw yesterday They're a lot easier on the eye than us that's for sure. thats not saying much though is it? apart from stoke who else is as much site for sore eyes as nufc? sam allardyce's west ham looks like brazil compared to us. we made Sunderland looked like a like football team for the first time for a while today.

Official: Yoan Gouffran signs new contract with Goztepe

sad sad state of affairs. class players like cabaye looking like turds, what are we going to expect from the likes of Gouffran. -
We attack with 3 players. We sit too deep. These are tactical decisions from the manager. Irrespective of the summer, we'll STILL play s***, uninspiring football. We did well last season despite Pardew, not because of him. We ended up with a front 3 of Ba, Ben Arfa and Cisse and it worked well. We still only attacked with 3 players, but they were 3 very direct forward players and they offered enough threat to the opposition that we got a few goals. Now we've lost Ba, Ben Arfa has missed nearly all the season and teams know what we're about and how we'll play. Also, loads of other teams underperformed last season and allowed us to sneak in. We can't be so utterly reliant on 3 players for any success whatsoever because when something goes wrong (Ba sold, Ben Arfa injured) we're f***ed, as this season shows. Our system is rubbish, it relies on exceptional individuals performing moments of magic. the reason we cant keep the ball, short or long. when we play short balls our players are too far away from each other, thus leads to miss passes and mistakes more often. thats the by-product of keeping rigid formation shape and restricting players movement towards the ball. when we play it long its usually to a man with no team mates near him, even if he can control it he will be crowded out by the opposition. another by-product of keeping rigid shape. yet somehow pardew keeps encouraging this type of tripe when he can clearly see its not working. thats tell you everything, he doesnt know how to change it! how we play every game as a team is what he preaches, that is what he knows best and he's limited and he can only stick to what he only knows. im tired of having ago at his ineptitude, im starting to feel sorry for him, its like having a go at one of our shit players when we know he's really shit and theres nothing he can do about it.

wonder if Ashley and Dekka will make sure this hurts Pardew? hmmmm no.
-
No Pardew we only played 20 mins of football on Thursday.

3 home games on the trot , no travelling involved and yet he has the nerves to sell us more bullshit about not having enough time to prepare for Sunderland. Or dear.

Newcastle United 0 - 3 sunderland - Post-match reaction from p58

Gah we are awful. Thank f*** we beat Fulham. That's because all our training consist of keeping shape, defending corners, defending freekicks, defending counter attacks, Our training for attack is mainly consisting of taking corner kicks, freekicks, pushing up centre backs to receive the kicks, 30 yard 40 yard pass counter attack to the furthers man on the shoulder of the oppositions defence. All this amazing stuff, whilst neglecting the basics of football, the simple bread and butter of football, Movement and pass to a team mate near you. -
Absolutely Had you, or anyone on here, actually heard of him before he landed in Southampton? Yes if you follow football , guillem ballague has been going on about him for years. Not a la liga fan I guess? You are probably one of those who never heard of Michu before he arrived

Come off it man, we 110% were totally gutless. Nope we were up for it in the first half, we just didnt have the ability. Look like a Sunday league game to start with both teams showing browns and no brains, lots off huff and puff and zero substance , was hard to believe either team were in the premeirship by the look of their technique. Nothing to do with no guts in the first half, just complete ineptitude and incoherency. So we have a team filled with top international players yet they have no ability? Exactly, when you play below your normal level for a while you'll be surprised how bad you can become -

people keep saying we were gutless. not really. first half every time mackems got the ball near our box we had atleast two players on him everytime. we just didnt know what to do with the ball when we did have it, we hoof it back to sunderland or pass it back to them, this is what happens when your entire squad trains solely on stopping the oppositions. this type of training is based on off the ball drills. this is why santon and jonas makes mistakes, because they arent drilled in passing the ball, with pressure or without. -
give us benitez. he's pretty boring too, but we wont be saying that once he gets us back in europe, and winning a domestic cup or two.

What I find more disgusting is that it has to take a heavy derby lost for some to finally realise. How did he con you for this long? Wake up already!
-
Yep - painful that it happened in the Derby, esp at SJP, but it HAS been coming - did anyone on here seriously believe that we would win after Johnson scored their second..? How many times have we scored 3 goals this seasn and won the match as well..? Pardew's teams are negative and over-cautious....they caught us 3 times on the break but in truth, they were better set-up to win the game. We lack rapid movement when attacking, esp off the ball and that makes it easy for sides to draw us in. The fact that we lost heavily to the Mackems is bad , but the main issue is that Pardew has been found out, well and truly. We are now in a big battle against relegation because if we can get caught on the break like this against our friends' frrom Wearside, think how Liverpool and Arsenal will do with their forwards.... WBA and QPR away our best hope of points. Shocking thing is we have found him out, prem coaches have found him out even the dumbest football pundits on the telly has worked him out, yet he still has his followers.
-
And I wonder why Cabaye had depression? A season and a half in training with this p*ss poor excuse of a coach, what do you expect one day you turn up for training and you see fat b****** workmen with hammers boarding up the training ground because his manager believes somebody is spying on his precious 'tactics'
-
Every pundit, broadcaster , presenters said today looking at the team sheet before kick off, and said how are Sunderland going to cope with us. Lol That's how bad our turd manager is.
