  1. Come on mate, it's ROY KEANE. Former central midfielder, ex-captain of Man Utd and Ireland as well as possessor of a manly beard. There HAS to be a good manager somewhere underneath his appropriately unflinching and hirsute façade.
  2. Van Persie has the best left foot in football.
  3. I'd modify a rule, increase the number of substitutions allowed during the match from 3 to 5. More opportunities for substitutes to play and the manager will have a greater ability to influence the course of the game. I'd add a rule, only the captain is allowed to approach and talk to the referee on behalf of his team-mates (unless the referee summons another player of course). Captains are a bit ceremonial these days, perhaps managers will think more before picking their captains.
  4. At the moment who are the 'top teams' anyway? Now that we've had a good look at us and the rest, I'd say the only teams that we would play and have very little chance of getting any points out of the game are Man United, City and Chelsea (moreso Man Utd and Chelsea in my opinion). We can legitimately expect at least a point from any other team we face. If we are still going well by the time we face one of these three teams and they still say we've had an easy start, I'd say, ''Then it's mostly an easy league!''
  5. This is the nonsense you have to deal with once you whore yourself to the dollar.
  6. From that poll it seems to me that most who call themselves Getafe and Rayo Vallecano supporters are fairweather fans who are actually Real Madrid supporters. Don't see any other reason why 82% of Rayo fans would hate Barça or why 60% of Real Madrid fans would list Getafe as their other preferred club.
