  1. Costa missed two easy chances to wrap up the game & Cattermole should've been sent off for a Sunday League tackle on Hazard. Cheating bastards somehow get away with it yet again.
  2. It's a great thing Hazard's finally back. He's going to take apart that defence next weekend. They genuinely have no business being in the League.
  3. Needs more than 5 games to rectify the catastrophic damage done by Pardew surely? Can't believe fans already want him out.
  4. Pardew's done an amazing job there. They're even better than they were under Pulis. Bolasie, Puncheon & Zaha is an amazing trio for a club their size and he's got Glen Murray scoring regularly.
  5. Apologies then. I partly agree with that. HBA is faster, superior in tight spaces, better dribbler etc. He's far behind in terms of stamina though.
  6. f*** me, you seriously don't believe this do you? Joey Barton has a "set of balls" as well and has had a nothing career for the most part. Lampard is way more gifted than Ben Arfa, stop throwing around cliches. To reference "House of Pain" the Cream of the crop, usually rise to the top. Joey Barton. Joey Barton is a shoddy excuse for an athlete with a decent right peg, no temperament, who probably lacked anything like the right application until he realised his career was going nowhere in his late 20s. That's why he's had a nothing career. Yeah, that 'cream' is generally comprised of talent, a bit of luck, and the balls to make the sacrifices to bring it all together. Lampard spent most of his late teens on West Ham's bench or in the reserves; at that age Ben Arfa was starting for Lyon, on the verge of playing for France and being talked about as a huge talent who'd eventually light up the world stage. If you're dumb enough to think the reason the former has had such an hugely superior career is talent, fair play. I'm not. Ben Arfa is a gifted dribbler no doubt but so are Victor Moses, Gael Kakuta, Marko Marin, Adel Taarabt and all the other players of their ilk that were hyped up at an early age . In terms of finishing, shooting technique, intelligence, passing, vision, ball retention, movement etc HBA is streets behind Lampard. You don't get to have the career Frank Lampard did through just hard work and sheer luck, he was just naturally gifted. Lampard through his West Ham spell alone had as many career goals as HBA has right now which speaks volumes. This idea Lampard was a random plodder that got where he was because he spent more hours than most on a training ground needs to stop.
  7. Fuck me, you seriously don't believe this do you? Joey Barton has a "set of balls" as well and has had a nothing career for the most part. Lampard is way more gifted than Ben Arfa, stop throwing around cliches. To reference "House of Pain" the Cream of the crop, usually rise to the top.
  8. It's his first full season as a regular starter so far in his career. Despite his age he's still relatively inexperienced and it showed at times today. He's only made 42 starts so far in his Senior Club career for example while his agemates (Bale and Walcott) have started 110 and 97 respectively. Surprised he only scored 1 today as he's a far better finisher than he showed today. He was ridiculously clinical during his short spell at Bolton earlier on this year but he hasn't been able to produce that sort of form so far this season. As for the people calling him greedy. He really isn't. So annoying how in England any player who can actually dribble with a football is automatically considered selfish. I thought he was right to go for goal after every shot he took today bar maybe the last 5 minutes where he should have passed the ball back to Torres who was in a much better position. Still very raw and learning an entirely different role that he's been accustomed to but he's been our best player so far this season along with Juan Mata. Ryan Taylor couldn't handle him at all today.
  9. Suprised no one has mentioned Ba marginally was offside in the build up to the Luiz incident. S**t decisions all round.
