http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/14052012/58/ligue-1-montpellier-chief-warns-newcastle-giroud.html Looks like Munchen in the hunt aswel..

Have to say its a hugely bold appointment (if it happens). Bear in mind that Wigan's biggest problem was scoring goals... which is exactly the same issue he'll face upon taking over at Liverpool. No doubt has done brilliant keeping them up.... but Wigan were bottom for a long time this season and a series of miraculous results has kept them in the division. He's never been tested with a decent budget, and he's walking into one of the most expectant and impatient crowds in world football... not to mention the squad he's taking over is hugely overrated with flaws everwhere. He's a brave man walking into that one ...

Montpellier's owner has mentioned us & Giroud again.... seems a bit mental that guy (owner) Would be a fantastic signing like..if Ba goes of course.
-
O'Niell......please Liverpool do something good for a change.
-
I'd have Johnson, given a run of games he has the potential to be very very good. The mackems would hate us getting him aswell...despite the facts they ignore (him supporting us and representing us at youth level)
-
RTG will implode if Ziff joins Liverpool ..... they are trying to dismiss the lure of liverpool over f***ing sunderland. I dont like the scousers but if Henry offers big cash to O'niell theres every chance he's take it.
-
Well I saw that, and he played well. Not sure if he could sustain such levels over the season in what is meant to be the fastest league in the world though ?
-
Nesta would get obliterated in The prem.... Exactly the sort of players we need to avoid Imo
-
I'd like to see him stay if his heart is in the right place..... but I reckon he'll be gone.
-
Having a go a Shearer coz he retired from International football..... pretty fucking desperate that. He's lost it, if he wasnt a professional footaller he would almost defo be in the slammer.
-
Gourcuff would cost an awful lot of money but he's a class player. I have a sneaky suspision we try and hijack Spurs' bid for Vertonghen, especially if sundays results prove positive...
-
Bardsley in Echo's team of the season.... that has literally made there season God honest i fucking despise them...I cant even bring myself to laugh at them any more
-
So because Santon had a raw deal from Walcott for 1 half he's not up to scratch..... fucking hell they are clueless, they dont have the basic ability to spot a talented footballer, something which has bled in to there transfer policy. I'm actually hating them more as a club because of that forum .

Deserves huge credit for bringing the best out of Hatem Ben Arfa, and incoporating Cabaye, Ba and Cisse with him to near perfection, around about the time people were questioning his methods. His players are playing for him.... and with the exception of Hughton, when was the last time we could say that? Also, despite the fact the rest of the country hated it... his antics in the Derby showed he knew how much it means.
-
It does make astonishingly good reading... I might be way off the mark but it woudnt suprise if we were on the box more times in our season in the championship than them in the prem.
-
That stripes thread is absolute gold. He's basically proclaiming what the players wear is holding them back from competing for serious honours.
-
You can register for 3 clubs... but only play for 2, over the course of a season. Stoke went in for Lukaku and then realised he cant play for them. Once this season is over... Madrid would have full lisence to buy him and play him (I think).
-
... Shola's leveller v the mackems. Never have I celebrated a goal with such sheer mental relief. And also Cabaye's free kick against rovers in the cup in stoppage time... jubilation in the stands.
-
I'v never liked them as a club and one quick glance at a few of there forums sharp reminds me why. They forever proclaim to be football's great sufferers, and if they win the title they will be righting a series of wrongs and all the hurt will be over. Enough to have you sticking fingers down your throat. They have sold there soul to get where they are, something we'll never lose *cue dramatic music*
-
Demba Ba to score.... and in doing so take the roof off.
-
If were talking top 6 teams, away... then im usually happy just to score, such is our turgid record against them. Still you never know..
-
Organisation goes out the window if we let one in. Thats not just when we let one in first aswell, conceding full stop seems to bring this on. Needs to be addressed if we gunna stay where we are.
-
Aint gunna rush to any conclusions over tactics or whatever... but we need the first goal in games for me. Gives the side confidence. We havent won a game this season in the league conceding first. Throw another on in a minute later and we're always gunna struggle, like today.

Not keen but will inevitably buy it anyway...
