He's been getting advertising (around £8 million a year) free, taking profit from sales of merchandise. If he ever wants to sell us, he'll make a hefty profit. But no he's not made a penny. The club are proven liars man. the assertion was the club never confirmed it, not that the club lied when they confirmed it Yeah, I'm out now. He seems to change his story. Apologies for the last page Tbf to him 4 people have now pulled him up on it and he’s doubling down got to be a WUM They haven't confirmed it publicly, theres no comeback on them if the bit of 'info' they're source fed into the Chronicle turns out to be false. The club did nothing of the sort because they're not genuine, there's been no serious bid and a takeover won't happen this summer. That's not pessimism - it's the reality staring you in the face. It's going to seem so brutally obvious in hindsight. It is brutally obvious now tbh.

i suppose their answer to that is the only thing suggesting it's as far along as BZG claim is an article in the sun and two statements they've made themselves, caulkin et al have said for ages talks have been ongoing with multiple parties seems to me that either BZG are full of shite or they're further along in the process than caulkin et al know about and club insiders have stopped briefing them or their ITKs don't know anything to be able to brief them off the record How did we go from being sold, to nearly sold, to now there are other interested parties? Ashley came out about Staveley, not a peep about BZG, just saying She was at the Liverpool game on 1st October, he came out and called her a time waster through Sky on 16th January...more than 3 months later. Give this one time eh.

In any normal transaction proof of funds is something that happens right at the very beginning of the process. I can’t imagine this case being any different. It's the whole ambiguity of everything, theres fuck all verifiably true information about this whole thing. So people can assume whatever they want. There's no proof they have actually provided proof of funds, they haven't even stated themselves that they have done this. Yes they have. They’ve gone on the record as stating they’ve provided proof of funds to him. Do you really think Ashley would incur all of these legal and accountancy fees if he didn’t feel they were the real deal? Shit yeah you're right, been a long day I'm not saying whether they're the real deal or not, just that some things seem a bit off with the whole thing. We've been here before and been burned before a few times.
