  1. It's just so typical. After a fantastic result against the champions last week. They keep trying to play it too narrow and far far too slow, it's infuriating.
  2. Spurs have been genuinely awful thus far.
  3. Spurs are useless, they're too narrow and trying to play in tight spaces. We're there for the taking man.
  4. Yep, gone from Rafa's total professionalism and belief in his methods to a complete joke instantly.
  5. "One of THE best teams of Europe". Get those excuses in again you goon.
  6. Always has been pathetic, from the reaction to Lascelles' initial statements till now. A good example of energy used up on the wrong causes. I'd argue attending games and supporting the team is a better example of energy used up on the wrong cause but there you go, still gonna be nearly 50,000 mis-directing their energy at every home game.
  7. If he doesn't say that, he doesn't get a pay rise. Let's be honest, that's the kinda way Ashley's club operates.
  8. He probably HAS to say it to get a new deal. This is Ashley he's/we're dealing with.
  9. Yep, Bruce also dropped/rested Sean that day. I think True Faith commented that it may have had something to do with contract negotiations. Our regime is as malevolent as they come so I think there's probably something shady in all of this.
  10. Give him a break, he's on peanuts and saying a few nice things about Mike and/or his puppet Steve is going to be a condition of him getting a new (still low paid) deal.
  11. It's really hit me this weekend what we're missing in Rafa. The club means nothing to me at the minute except causing hate and anger. I think I'm almost ready to let go. Not of Rafa, but of Ashley's club. I don't think the negative energy is doing me any good, and I'm at the point where I almost feel ready to disengage completely. Although I'll still be rooting for Spurs today. There's clearly some hate left in me.
  12. i'd love to hear what our resident accountants think of this, the lads who go over the books in detail i'd also like to hear how it makes him more money than simply hiring a competent manager, spending a decent fraction of the TV money, and trying to increase the clubs commercial revenue properly Well step 4 isnt physically possible - how do you lend yourself money? Relegation won't be part of a masterplan, but I don't think one relegation every 5 years is something he would worry about, sell some assets and start again without any significant investment. Problem is that in 09 we had a good team, last time we had Rafa. We will have neither this time and the Championship gets stronger each year. In short we ain't coming back up straight away without significant change and investment Are the loan transactions listed in the company accounts properly? In terms of can the public see actual evidence he deposited £33 million etc into the clubs account, or is it just his word for it? I'd assume the actual transactions are evidenced in there somewhere, just never really seen it, only newspapers stating the amounts.
  13. I'd rather have Dubravka than De Gea in goal tbh.

    Joelinton

Surprise surprise there's nothing wrong with him.
  15. This cunt reminds me of Pardew more and more by the day. He says "I" need a win, but then "we" when talking about losing. You just know when we eventually fluke a win he'll be full of it, just like Pardew was.
  16. Hi Odin. Just thought I'd leave this here. It's clearly Odin.
  17. It would be a good start if the whole fanbase could treat it with the contempt it deserves, rather than lapping it up. I tried advising this route at the time but got nowhere. It was so clearly bullshit this last time. He's got no reason not to pull the same stunt again, after all, it's worked a treat in the past. Let's be honest, BZG were in on the joke as well. Didn't Caulkin mention another interested party. There may have been someone legitimitely looking to buy the club, but it wasn't the Sheik and his WhatsApp loving cockney mate.
  18. It's so infuriating that as a fanbase we allow Ashley to fool us repeatedly, in the same way. The clue to everyone that the so-called takeover was make-believe should have been the twat from the Sun's initial story - "NUFC Sold! Small print: not sold yet" It's the way Ashley works. Sad thing is he can probably do the exact same thing again and a large proportion will believe.
  19. So much sense in this post.

Yep, looks to have a heart the size of a pea. Hate shit like this. Perhaps he's just a professional being managed by utter fucking morons and thinks he shouldn't bother trying too hard when he's being hung out to dry by said morons. 2 games is not enough to decide he doesn't have heart. Looks to, not definitely does have. Hate shit like people not reading posts properly.

  22. Remember under Pardew we aimed every corner and free kick to Williamson at the back post. This will be the extent of Bruce's tactics, lumping it to Carroll at every opportunity. Just a shame for Bruce he'll probably be injured after 13 minutes like.
  23. Why pay the pricks asking price and have to put up with lord knows what Rangers style clauses he has stuck into the clubs commercial contracts hobbling your revenue when you can buy a "lesser" club in a better state for cheaper and use the money saved to sink into transfers. Sports ownership is a small community, and word spreads. There is a reason why we have only really had chancers dating back to Barry Moat and people trying to cobble together consortiums seriously interested despite every major American NFL and NBA owner considering the Premier League. That is the most likely scenario. If it was just a case of pay X amount of money and the club is yours, someone would have bought it by now. Obviously he doesn't want to let go of the promotion rights and that makes the club worthless to someone else, other than someone who is willing to be a front like Kenyon. Kenyon doesn't have the money. Period. He also wrote a lovely public letter to Mike saying how nice he was to deal with. BZG; well, the last we heard from them they said "please don't blame Ashley, or us if we don't buy the club". Then they disappeared into thin air. He will be a complete cunt to deal with no doubt, but I don't see any evidence Kenyon or BZG were ever serious. I believe Staveley was, but the next 2 sagas seemed and still seem scripted.
