This summer is going to clear up what we can actually do financially. It could be a huge sponsorship deal for shirt, training ground and stadium. Or a premier league handcuffed marginal improvement. If it's the latter next season could be incredibly hard for us. Potentially balancing Europe with the league with a marginally better squad. We could easily slip down to mid table. Making the bigger deals hard to justify again. The rules set up to maintain the greedy six's dominance are well thought out. They are not stupid. We see teams flirt with breaking into it for a year and then really struggle. I do think/hope we're different but its not going to be easy.
I know I am stating the obvious but CL qualification will play a huge part on Sponsorship deals and budget for players. Huge few weeks.

If he is not good enough for Man U he is certainly not good enough for Newcastle. Bruno has set the mould for the type of player we are after. I don't believe we are interested.

Trippier staying fit has been massive for us - he leads the back line and is a huge creative force in attack.

I'm sick of Man City man. They really took the piss landing Haaland for £50 million this past summer the scoundrels.
It would be incredibly satisfying for them to have him come in and score 40 goals or whatever he ends up on, and for them to lose out on the title to Arsenal with Jesus and Zinchenko playing a big part in it for them.
Agreed - quite an arrogant club these days. Clearly cheated as well but will get away with it.

If you take off the £15Mil we got for Wood we got him for £45 mil - BARGAIN

Eddie will make this lad World Class.

He’s been one if the best most consistent players outside the top 6 for the last few years.
Consistent? How exactly? He has scored 6 goals this season - that isn't a great return for a forward.

If he doesn't win Manager of the year - he has been robbed.

I love Zaha but he doesn’t seem to have the work rate of an Eddie Howe winger.
He is very over ratted - on the day he can turn it on but he lacks consistency.

He did, here is the evidence. First time I've seen him ever go against the referee
What was that ref saying? They've been told some weeks to do it? Some not?? Eh
Has he just admitted match fixing?

Hard to not think there isn’t an agenda against us when you have these decisions over the last two weeks, Joelinton’s disallowed goal v Southampton and Anderson’s v Forest.
There is bound to be. PL clearly had pressure from the Government to approve the buyout and the big four will not have been pleased.

Still love this guy - best defender I can ever remember. Just an absolute colossus - destined to be World Class.

Are we the only team that hasn’t lost in London this season?
Is that right? Wow -
We never used to win in London ha

I am still amazed Forrest took Wood and Shelvey.

Not 21 until November so won't need to be registered for the season and wouldn't take a slot
Isn't that the point? Homegrown and under 21 so don't take a slot - ideal. We just don't have enough of these types of players.

Hard to believe Chelsea spent £700mil on that squad. Dressing room must be in disarray.

£63Mil for Isak was a great bit of business. What a player.

Even the houses behind would be affected if you try and extend the East Stand - it would block out their light.
