We have 4 keepers we aren’t short in numbers. In fact we have one too many and Howe’s opinion of a back up keeper may differ from others. Personally I’d rather have Dúbravka but just looking at it from how the club might view it. If Dubravka goes there isn’t a chance another keeper comes in
If we sell Dubs then we're short in quality. Darlow isn't a good enough.

I mean we have 4 keepers and one has to go. There doesn’t seem much interest in Darlow. I imagine he’ll end up going with a few million loan fee with the option to buy.
We are leaving ourselves weak in GK department - this makes no sense to me. Ok Dubs wants to go but you have to sell to then use the money to buy a replacement.
-
I have to admit - I am surprised we've not put our hat in the ring for Lodi if he's available on a loan. Nice bit of squad depth right there.

I think it’s very unrealistic, and people are setting themselves up for disappointment, expecting 2 starting 11 players to walk through the door.
When has ANY team ever had a perfect window and solved all of their problems at once?
I’m at the stage where I’m expecting a CM on loan and that’s all. And that would represent a very solid 2nd transfer window.
True - but I think the owners see opportunity this season and there will be funds available. I think it's all about if the right player becomes available

Been having a debate with a mate about what we need more, I'm firmly in the Almiron isn't good enough camp so we seriously need a proper RW, but now having seen what our midfield looks like without Bruno I think that area should be priority if it's only one.
These injuries are already exposing glaring squad weaknesses all over, but we can't buy a full new squad it will take a few seasons to have a quality squad in full, I just hope we are getting the injuries out of the way early.
Personally I'd like a Maddison type middle player as a priority, someone positive and creative, a bigger threat from the RW position brought in, and maybe even a right back on loan until January.
Would hope that we can somehow offload Murphy until too so he can play as little as possible.
100% - midfield is the engine for any team. I agree a new CM is the priority

Lets hope he's fit for Liverpool - I fancy him against Trent

You forget to remind yourself just how thin and shite the squad was just a few months back. Looks like possibly one or two still to come, fingers crossed.
Players below here for the long run and we know all do a job. Not bad going, but as mentioned, injuries will happen. Never thought we’d be at a stage where we’re not too far off strengthening our squad let along our starting 11.

Do we think we’ll shift focus to getting a Rb after Krafth’s injury?
It's one to add to the list

Ashworth probably saw Sean stinking the gaff up today and got straight on the blower to Ajax.

Big few days ahead which will decide how realistic 7th place is

Cannot win like. People moan when don't play a first choice team in the cups. People moan when said first choice players get injured in said cups.
tbh everyone on here was saying 'Not' to Bruno into that game and this was why.

Sounds about right. CM for me but would be content with a good winger.
I actually think we might spend again.
I hope so - badly need some depth.

Mctominay would feel like a backward step for this side imo

Is Conte still just on an 18 Month contract?

Did a job to keep us up but is no where near good enough to take us forward.
-
We need a back up for Bruno - Longstaff is no where near good enough. Come on Dan get on a flight to London.

On the bright side that game might prompt an extra signing
We need another CM for sure and ideally a winger.
