The fact ASM loves Bruce is reason enough to sell - clearly liked the trips to the takeaways

tbf to the lad his goals got us 6 points which not only helped keep us up but also to get 11th. The places in the table alone probably paid for his transfer. He was a means to an end.

100% we'd have been one of the teams relegated if this takeover hadn't have happened. In the nick of time...

You can tell he's loved every minute of his loan spell.

The atmosphere at Etihad looked a bit flat. 'Yay - we won another league'

Think it was more a convenient formula based on the set of players we had at the club, and ensuring we stayed up.
We'll have to see what happens anyway. Have a feeling with a full pre-season and summer to reshape the squad, he'll return to his preferred system.
Thing is he doesn't need to. Just needs to add a bit more quality - Striker, CM, defender and we're set up nicely for next season.

My gut feeling is Howe is going to return to his attacking 4-4-2, with two strikers, two narrow inverted wingers, and two really attack minded full backs providing width. And so we appear to be after withdrawn strikers to support Wilson and Wood, which is why we are targeting two strikers that link play, one with a bit more experience and a younger one to be back up.
Think midfield is likely going to be Bruno sitting deeper in the number 6 slot and Joelinton as a ball winner/box to box number 8, which he has been so impossibly good at that they're going to continue to develop him in that position.
Be surprised if he messed too much with a winning formula

DCL needs a season to prove his fitness before I'd even contemplate signing him. Everton won't sell him anyway. We also need a striker with pace.

And Globo in Brazil have now reported that the 24-year-old would be interested in the idea of playing for Newcastle next season and beyond.
The report adds the Bruno Guimaraes factor, with Lodi and the new Magpies hero both beginning their careers with Brazilian outfit Athletico Paranaense.
Lodi, labelled a hero during Atletico’s Champions League victory over Manchester United earlier in 2022, is an excellent defender and it’ll be fascinating to see if Howe genuinely does bring him to England.

Klopp will win sadly. But Howe is the only manager to make history this season so bias aside he deserves to win it.

Whilst it does feel a bit hypocritical that Real Madrid are moaning about FFP after years of buying galactico after galactico I do feel UEFA need to seriously put a stop to clubs simply ignoring it. Everton are blatantly guilty of it here and PSG clearly don't give a fuck either. Man City were also found guilty in court I think?
It's like they pick and chose which clubs to sanction.

This transfer window is going to be mint. Whatever happens we are actually going to be actively looking to sign players.

You'd think he'd played a big part in them winning the league. Needs to sort his own form out before he can pick on Miggy.
