Apparently Salah is set to be rested too, just like Morata. And I bet Sterling is too.
Grim
Be surprised if he did rest him - Klopp played that card against Everton with Coutinho and it backfired.
-
I'm glad he's good again
That is one empty stadium.
-
Urgh - Watford man
-
I brought Joselu in for Morata
-
Hard to feel confident about this game.
-
This lad will come good - no doubt in my mind. Sadly doesn't appear to be at Newcastle.
-
I think he's missing having Lascelles as his partner - it just doesn't work with Clark.
-
Binned Kane for Hazard
-
"Mignolet, Gomez, Klavan, Lovren, Robertson, Henderson, Milner, Mane, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Solanke
Subs: Karius, Wijnaldum, Coutinho, Firmino, Can, Ings, Alexander-Arnold"
The f***?
I think this could backfire on Klopp.

His modernisation plans have included lifting the ban on women drivers and investmenting $500billion (£381billion) in a new city and business zone. The proposals, grouped under the name Vision 2030, also feature plans for the partial privatisation of the state oil company, Saudi Aramco, and the creation of the world's largest sovereign wealth fund
I wouldn't be surprised if it's the Crown Prince looking to buy the club.

Why aren’t to commentators calling that offside? Have they seen a different video to us?
Cause it's Man City. I noticed on GOS they didn't even mention the poor decision when showing our highlights. Such bias on Sky to the bigger teams.
-
How are the commentators saying that was on side
-
Way off site that - big sides always get the decisions
-
Spurs scored - hopefully means flood gates will open - Kane hat trick
Edit: Or not just been subbed
-
I have Kane as C - don't expect any points from him today folks
Same
If I'd known Alli was injured I wouldn't have.
-
The thing was there was 4 bookings in yesterday's game and I can't remember a bad challenge by either team. It's ridiculous the amount of needless booking's in games.
He was a useless ref - killed the flow of the game.
-
Brought in Alli now injured - damn it.

It's blatantly obvious to me that Rafa is telling him to take his time with his distribution, in the same way that all the outfield players take their time with evrrything they do. It's certainly not unique to him. People need to get over the fact that he's an average goalie that happened to be Pardew's mate.
You think Rafa would tell a keeper to take his time over a goal kick when we are behind with hardly any time left? Why?
I’d imagine its more to do with Elliot being aware his distribution is poor and trying to take his time and get it right. Aware of his own limitations and trying to ensure he doesn’t make a mistake. You see where defenders close him down, his distribution is much worse when he is rushed.
I’d rather him take 3 seconds longer and distribute the ball slightly better, than rush it make a mistake when he tries to release Perez on the halfway line, who will undoubtably fall over anyway when someone in Level 7 sneezes.
Trouble is he takes so long it destroys any chance of a counter, and even then all does is hoof it up the pitch - and when you've Gayle and Perez up front the ball is only just going to come back.
-
How the f*** Perez was left trying to mark Cook I will never know.
If Mitro had been brought on instead...
-
We need this done by January.
If we don't have money to spend in Jan -->
-
Potentially. Mightn't have been back on the line to clear that chance on to the post mind.
I think this is why Rafa likes Joselu as he would have been back as well challenging. As it turns out it was Perez challenging with Clark.
-
Begovic's save for Ritchie's first shot was incredible.
Begovic is a quality keeper and he is exactly what we need - Bournemouth would have been buried without him. That save was brilliant and the one from Atsu. For Bournemouth's goal I personally think Elliot should have come out to claim the ball but he didn't move. He's a championship keeper at best.
-
They played together when they relegated us. Has that blanked your mind?Play this lad with Mitro and watch him shine - they had a good understanding.
When?
When they played together
I wouldn't say that pairing was the reason we were relegated - there was slightly more to it than that. But as a pairing they faired better than Joselu/Perez.

He's done nought this season - needs to be sold and someone with a brain brought in. Cannot rely on him to provide the creative spark we're missing.
