Let’s just break FFP rules and deal with it later.
100%. Convinced we'll be fine just look at City. It's a farce.

I'm gutted Messi doesn't play for PSG anymore was always a dream to watch him play at St James. At least we'll get to see Mbappe

Hope we have a busy day tomorrow.
Hopefully the owners see the CL draw and realise we need more

Isn't he left footed? Competition for Almiron

Perfect move for him and Brighton, surprised we haven’t had a go at that tbh.
Would love him here

Fati on loan to Spurs? We should be all over that

That Barnes breakaway has been living rent free in my head all week ?
The moment was Miggys shot which hit the post. Goal of the season right there for multiple reasons.

It feels weird we're not playing in the EFL until later

Talk of West Ham trying to loan Hugo Ekitike from PSG. I'm surprised we're not in the mix if he's available to take on loan. Squad depth and all that- the club clearly rate him.

Loves to play off the shoulder and sadly not getting much of a service. Gordon was the only player to find him. Hopefully Tonali will in time.

Part of me just wishes we'd just spend what we want to spend and deal with FFP in the courts. Because it doesn't work - it was meant to stop owners burying clubs in debt. But is now being used to keep clubs down. Needs to be challenged.

Dont think he massively fucked up, but I was dissapointed in the intensity of our play. Thought it was really lacking considering we played over 60 minutes against 10 men at home. Seemed like we tried to control and slow the game down. May not be Howe's fault, he did say they were trying to go for another goal and end the game. Perhaps the fault lies more on the players letting the occasion get to them.
For 80 minutes Howes tactics were spot on. What lost us the game was bad luck, a worldie of a save and some sloppy play. Nothing that Howe has any control over. The fact that Klopp has said this is one of his greatest victories tells you how well we had controlled the game. Just luck wasn't on our side.

Almiron was one of our better players on Sunday. Can't believe he's getting stick. Only a worldie save and a post stopped him bagging two goals. And his tracking back was excellent. I can't remember anyone else really having a shot - Gordon's goal aside.

Subs had nothing to do with us loosing the game. It's ridiculous to suggest otherwise. Liverpool got lucky with a deflection for the first I mean come on it couldn't have fallen any better for Nunez. And the second Bruno gave the ball away. Take nothing away from the finish. What this has to do with the subs I have no idea.

Echo everyone's desperation that there's no serious issues. One of the many heartbreaking aspects from the weekend was that he was having an absolutely brilliant game until the end. Honestly thought it might have been his best for us.
So unlucky for the goal as well. Didn't deserve it for the game he was having.

Likely would have scored and put us 2-0 up had Van Dyke not brought him down, totally different game then .

It wasn't a mistake it was just a freak accident that the ball hit his arse then dropped onto his heal and landed at the feet of Nunez. Devine intervention for the favourite sons of Liverpool. But I thought he was immense. Burn was at fault for the second, stepped up and gave Nunez way too much space.
Bruno was at fault for the second giving the ball away.

I thought he was brilliant today.
Then he went and did that. Staggeringly stupid attempt at a pass.
Finding it hard not to be absolutely fucking raging at him like. ?
Sometimes he just tries too hard - looking for the Hollywood pass. His brilliance when he first joined was that he kept it simple.

Maxi would have had TAA sent off within minutes.
tbf Gordon did get him send off - technically. As for Barnes he barely got the ball - was crying out for it and was free much of the time. But we kept trying to pass through the lines, which was easily dealt with by Liverpool. Bizarrely we didn't do what worked so well against Villa.

Ya I realize he was losing the ball a bit towards the end but feel like last season someone has a lie down and we talk that out.
He did which is why I understood Eddie taking him off. Had ran his socks off.

I absolutely love him, but taking Gordon off was the wrong call. He'll learn from this and we'll be all the better for it.
Eddie Howe's black and white army!
But it wasn''t the reason we lost.
