BOOM! You got a tip yet never mentioned it in your betting list at all? For shame! Haha! I didn't even look at the bumper betting this morning. Mullins usually wins it! I only remembered it when I was looking at the card after the foxhunters. He mentioned another horse to him as well - I'll try get the name of it later.

Another profitable day thanks to Mr Russell. Moon Racer is my pick in the last - I was told yesterday, by someone who had been sitting with Martin Pipe three weeks ago, that Moon Racer was one of his sons best chances of a winner this week. Never had a tip from this source before but he did have a picture of him sitting with the legend.

Davy Russell ....

Shame for Sprinter Sacre. Best horse I've ever seen and timeform rated 3rd best horse of all time. Been a pleasure but needs to retire now.
-
Davy Russell must have a serious strike rate at Cheltenham. Great ride again on Windsor Park
-
4.40 Zarib (On the basis that I'm backing all of Dan Skeltons runners this week). Looks to have a good chance as he was a decent 3rd to Peace & Co in the middle of two easy wins. Going to back it at around 11/1.

Thought CF might have caused a mini upset today. I was going to back it in a forecast with SS.

I got a price boost off Paddy Power. They've gave me a price boost on Outlander (11/2) as well but I always back Davy Russells rides so had to side with Windsor Park. Dermot Weld normally has a lot of winners in the Spring when the ground firms up but the ground this week is almost spring like. Ah right The CC really is stick a pin in the card stuff mind, can find sizable faults with every one of them. Could end up the race of the meeting if they all turn up. Always the same, it's a minefield! The last single digit winner was in 2008 and the last favourite to succeed was in 2003. I'll probably end up backing a few of the bigger priced horses e/w.

Haven’t backed these yet but will do as the day progresses: 1.30 Windsor Park 5/1 2.05 Kings Palace 9/2 2.40 Activial 10/1; Un Atout 14/1 3.20 Sprinter Sacre 4/1 4.00 Rivage D’or 20/1; Quantitiveeasing 10/1 4.40 Hostile Fire 10/1 5.15 *One of Willie Mullins 762 runners in the race* (He’s a cunt, it’s a knocking bet that his 3rd or 4th string will win it)

We will agree to disagree. After the fall today I spoke to a lad who used to work at Brian Ellisons yard and he said that the jockey was nothing to do with it. I agreed and I still do.

Genuine mistake. Took off too early. Sprinter Sacre is my main bet tomorrow. Was a machine at his best and even if it is 80% right it'll trounce tomorrows opponents. Loved that horse since it was a hurdler and I'll have my biggest bet of the week on it tomorrow. Absolute bullshit. There is no way whatsoever he f***s up like that on a horse like that. Howay man. The horse took off too early and therefore never cleared the hurdle. Ruby can not be blamed for that horse falling over. It's a natural response for any punter to blame the jockey but there was nothing untoward on this occasion.

Get in! Great day got better.

Great day. I've backed Leap Dearg, Knock House and Irish Cavalier in the last. Small bets just for entertainment. Just had the winner at Sedgefield so a cracking day overall.
-
Had arctic fire E/W so still in profit in all 4 races. Absolutely loving this.
-
I originally fancied Faugheen all week (as per last pages selections) but ended up backing The New One after watching a re-run of last years race.
-
3 out of 3, scenes.
-
Had the double at around 4s on those two. Great start.

Open a phone account. Get some good bonuses on phone accounts as well.

Enjoyed that but it'll definitely be downhill from here on in.

Top quality? Come on. There's not a lot to choose between him, Haidara and Dummett. Santon was given a lot of chances, but didn't make the sort of improvements that you'd want to see in a young player. Heard you saw worse in the 80s; can you confirm?

The RSA between Kings Palace/Coneygree/Don Poli is one of the most intriguing races of the week. I've backed Kings Palace a few times over the last two seasons and Coneygree has been good to me. Probably just going to side with Coneygree on the basis that it's front running style will keep it out of trouble. Can see why people like the look of Kings Palace though, almost faultless over fences so far. Coneygree looks like he's Gold Cup bound. I thought I'd read over the weekend that Bradstock would go for the RSA. It's years since a novice won the Gold Cup - ridiculous if he goes for that. Must be very confident he'll go well enough for the Gold Cup but it's a massive risk. Just been reading a bit more into it, sounds like no decision will be made until tomorrow when it's final declaration stage for the RSA. Can't wait for tomorrow. Half day put in, straight to the bookies and then a day in the pub watching the racing. Perfect.
