Christ, how did they not score there?
-
Crazy how Monday Night Football 6 short weeks ago, we'd just beaten Chelsea and had a live Champions League tie with Barcelona to look forward to in a couple of days, and I was chuffed that Wolves had come from 2 down to draw at Brentford with us having Sunderland and Bournemouth at home to come and a half arsed Palace away, 7-9 points there, but no, fast forward 6 weeks, after 5 defeats in a row, I've now given up hope of catching Brentford and hope they win here for the greater good.

Aye, you'd like to think we wouldn't end the season with 8 straight league defeats, which is what it would be, and we'll surely pick something up, and one point would surely end all doubt, but given we do play 2 sides below us, if we were to limp to 8 straight defeats then it wouldn't be that unlikely, but as it is, most bookies aren't taking bets on us, so it's clearly not likely, but if you take the games individually rather than collectively, then it is quite hard to see where the next point is coming from.
-
I don't think we'll go down, but if, hypothetically, we do lose all 4 remaining matches then that puts Forest above us and West Ham within 3 points of us as they would both be picking up 3 points vs us. You'd fancy Leeds to pick up at least 2 points given they have 8 from their last 4, and especially with them playing Burnley at home on Friday, so IF we were to lose all 4, we'd probably be relying on Spurs not getting 8 from their last 4, and the pessimist might then be thinking Leeds will have nothing to play for when they play Spurs, the Villa match on Sunday is right between their Europa League semi final matches etc.
-
Normally I'd be hoping for Man Utd to win these type of matches for our European hopes, but I'm now hoping Brentford win to put them further ahead of Sunderland and keep them as far down the table as possible.

Shildon vs West Auckland in the Northern League playoff final. At least it's definitely a Durham club coming up and not another South of the Tees club.
-
Dunston blew their shot of a home playoff tie on Tuesday night. They have to travel to Emley on Sunday now after finishing 4th. Stockton secured 5th and the final playoff spot in the league above. 2 away ties if they want to join Hebburn in step 2 next season.
-
Hednesford 1-3, so will take a big turnaround for Hebburn not to go up now.
-
Good news. Spartans are safe. Ossett drawing at half time so Bishops currently out of the drop zone, but just takes 1 goal for Ossett and it changes things.
-
Full time, well done York.
-
If it is York vs Carlisle in the playoff final then it doesn't bode well (for Carlisle) given they lost 5-0 and 3-0 to them in the regular season.
-
Up the Cumbrians!
-
I've just got off the Metro at Hebbun. I'm in very good time, ha.
-
I was wondering if you were going. I'd say it will be pretty much 50/50 as if either of the Bs win at home, Ossett will have to win as well against a good, playoff chasing side. Bishops had won 3 in a row below losing to your today's opponents last week. You'd obviously rather be in Ossets position though with it being on their hands.

Fylde losing 1-0, but Shields still level. One goal (for Shields) would be enough as it stands.
-
Didn't realise the National North and South were also kicking off at 12.30pm. Still 0-0 in both Shields and Fylde matches.
-
Wouldn't really work with the current NL playoff system in operation. There's a demand to increase the playoff picture these days to keep the league more competitive as we are seeing with the Championship these days.
-
Aye, big day all round. Hopefully one of Bishop Auckland or Blyth Town win their match and pass Ossett to stay up. Be nice if Dunston can secure a home playoff semi final as well. Not much hope for Morpeth though.
-
Millwall score a 90th minute equaliser to draw with already relegated Leicester. It could be a very crucial point given their goal difference is so inferior to the other contenders and Ipswich play Southampton in midweek, but more than likely it will be 2 points dropped.

13th, 14th, 15th, 16th is failure and under-performing wherever it is we end up. If it was 16th, then bar losing 3 or so million, it does emphasise that failure more than a limp 13th would. Unless we were to get 10 or so points and make a real fist of the last 5 games, then I'm not really fussed where we end up. I'll certainly not be looking at Palace, Leeds and Forest results and be gutted if they win so we drop a place or two.
-
Forest were 0-1 down at halt time to Burnley on Sunday, 0-1 still after 60 mins, so in their last 2 halves of football, they've scored 8 goals. Not bad for a side who looked bang in trouble before these 2 halves.
-
Don't give an F if this sets them on their way to pass us, especially if they beat us, this is fantastic viewing.

It's been an excellent match to watch, to be fair. First 20 mins have flow by.
